September 6, 200618 yr it was in 1999 their album, which was named eternal, which got 87# was way underated! thats all i was saying 0zx :D whoa, I learn something new everyday. Didn't even know they released an album just the two of them! Thanks for letting me know. I may try getting hold of it as I like there other stuff
September 6, 200618 yr yeah i love the album, should try it out, its not better than there other stuff but its still great! :D
September 6, 200618 yr the irony is in their name really "eternal". They should have never tried it out just the two of them. It just didn't look right anymore really. It wasn't eternal
September 6, 200618 yr I'd definitely go with Dannii Minogue, she is really talented but doesn't get half the success she deserves because people always dismiss her as "Kylie's younger sister". Placebo, I love this band to pieces! They don't get anywhere near as much credit as they should, they've released some really amazing music. Rogue Traders (as far as the UK is concerned at least). Brilliant band, brilliant album which I'm hoping picks up after the next single. The Modern, one of the most promising bands of 2006 so far and have been criminally overlooked. Maybe I'll think of more later.
September 6, 200618 yr Placebo are awesome! I wouldn't say they were underatted though? They have had some good album sales. I have really loved the 2 Modern singles so far. I am adoment they will take off soon enough Edited September 6, 200618 yr by Ozx
September 6, 200618 yr Placebo are awesome! I wouldn't say they were underatted though? They have had some good album sales They've done pretty well I suppose, but they get really overlooked whereas other bands get all the attention. A lot of my friends don't even know who they are. :arrr:
September 6, 200618 yr I love eternal and have every album except the last one. I was never really keen on the sisters so when they went as a duo i think everyone lost interest but after having 4 top 10 and big selling albums to all of a sudden have an album go in at 87 is just shocking. And yeah it goes to say Danni is soooooo underrated
September 6, 200618 yr They've done pretty well I suppose, but they get really overlooked whereas other bands get all the attention. A lot of my friends don't even know who they are. :arrr: That is true in a sense. Some bands get so over hyped (like the arctic monkeys) yet Placebo who are a million times better never get such attention.
September 6, 200618 yr That is true in a sense. Some bands get so over hyped (like the arctic monkeys) yet Placebo who are a million times better never get such attention. And bloody Oasis! But they've had an amount of success I'm satisfied with I suppose, they just get very overlooked by many. I own all their albums and I'm starting to collect the singles now.
September 6, 200618 yr Another one I have to add to the list - Natalie Imbruglia. What an amazing, lovely and talented woman.
September 6, 200618 yr Yeah she is totally underatted. Amazing talent! And there is something so sincere about her. Nobody can hate her
September 6, 200618 yr Paris Hilton - Granted, she can't sing that well. But she has some AMAZING songs and her album deserved to do far better than it did Cassie - I know most people think shes 'bland' or whatever. but IMO her album is a strong debut effort and 'Long Way 2 Go' [her 2nd single] has a possible chance of #1 if promoted right JoJo - I dunno if shes underrated but people seem to have forgotten about her after 'Leave (Get Out)'. I think shes a brilliant singer and could do SO much given the right promotion.
September 6, 200618 yr I'll be shot down for this, but oh well. Lindsay Lohan. Both of her albums have been absolutely amazing, fabulous pop albums. The second album is a little darker than the first but it really adds to her appeal. Everyone just thinks "oh another actress wants to sing" but I can guarantee she is 1 BILLION times better than Hilary Duff or most who try to crossover, I know Lindsay has her fans on here, but she is still very underrated. -_-
September 6, 200618 yr (In the UK) Delta Goodrem JOJO Jessica Simpson Rogue Traders Holly valance lol! she wasn't great but her singles were good Samantha Mumba Javine
September 6, 200618 yr Definately go with Javine too, amazing voice, gorgeous figure, so talented, yet she flopped. I believe she's a LOT more talented than Jamelia, but Jamelia is the more successful of the 2, quite an injustice.
September 6, 200618 yr I agree with Natalie Umbruglia, i love her songs, Torn, Caught In The Middle, Shiver theyre all amazing!
September 6, 200618 yr No question - Beverley Knight. She has to be one of (if not THE) most talented female vocalists of all time imo - yet although these past couple of years she's done well, but not yet got the true success she deserves. Also, Javine's album was totally snubbed and Maria Lawsons is shaping up for the same reception, such a shame.
September 6, 200618 yr Lacuna Coil Within Temptation Nightwish Leaves Eyes Theatre of Tragedy Bloody Mary Paradise Lost The Gathering All you ruddy Evanescence and Rasmus fans who go out like fukkin' sheep and buy 14 million albums of incredibly average Pop/Rock with vague "goffick" pretentions, and ignore these incredible bands who were the main influences of Ev and Ras, UTTER FUKKIN' SHAME ON YOU!!!!! <_< I feel that tATu's new material is incredibly under-rated as well... Wot? Got a problem with a manufactured act growing up, refusing to be exploited by a nasty piece of work producer, finding their own path and daring to be a bit more individual....? Interpol are incredibly under-rated as well, especially when you see lesser bands like Arctic Monkeys, The Automatic and The Kooks grabbiing all the press attention....
