July 10, 201510 yr Author  Totally forgot about Disco Defenders in 2009 - although I shouldn't have because that was actually a new release. Disappointment doesn't cut it, I need new music from them. They better be doing Melodifestivalen in 2016 and release an album with all new tracks.
July 27, 20159 yr This is out on UK iTunes, the first ever time Stay The Night has been available to buy here...shame it's that remix that sucks the sparkle out of it though.
February 5, 20187 yr Author Sad news. Alcazar has announced they are splitting, but not before a Farewell Tour. They also released a new song today called "In The Name Of Love". This was the song they had sent to Melodifestivalen this year, but, was rejected (I will say it's no Stay The Night/Blame It On The Disco). 20 Years together.. wow.. they're almost in their 50's too
February 6, 20187 yr That song wouldn't have worked at Melodifestivalen, maybe even worse than "Headlines" back then, so they made the right decision... I don't like this new song very much right now, maybe it grows on me, that's what I'm hoping for because I really enjoyed Alcazar's singles in the past. They also had amazing album tracks!
July 27, 20213 yr Ooh no, I was hoping for a comeback when I saw this topic reappearing in here. I still miss Alcazar, miss BWO, too. Those were great Swedish pop days.
