 Totally forgot about Disco Defenders in 2009 - although I shouldn't have because that was actually a new release.

Disappointment doesn't cut it, I need new music from them.

They better be doing Melodifestivalen in 2016 and release an album with all new tracks.

This is out on UK iTunes, the first ever time Stay The Night has been available to buy here...shame it's that remix that sucks the sparkle out of it though.

Sad news. Alcazar has announced they are splitting, but not before a Farewell Tour.

They also released a new song today called "In The Name Of Love". This was the song they had sent to Melodifestivalen this year, but, was rejected (I will say it's no Stay The Night/Blame It On The Disco).

20 Years together.. wow.. they're almost in their 50's too

That song wouldn't have worked at Melodifestivalen, maybe even worse than "Headlines" back then, so they made the right decision... I don't like this new song very much right now, maybe it grows on me, that's what I'm hoping for because I really enjoyed Alcazar's singles in the past. They also had amazing album tracks!

Ooh no, I was hoping for a comeback when I saw this topic reappearing in here.

I still miss Alcazar, miss BWO, too. Those were great Swedish pop days.

A new single from Alcazar is being released today, to be precise the artist is Andreas Lundstedt / Alcazar feat. Annikafiore, Lina Hedlund & Tess Merkel:

Andreas Lundstedt is currently a contestant on the Swedish music show “Så mycket bättre”, in which musicians perform their own version of a well-known song by another artist, with each episode focusing on every participant performing a different song by the same artist. In the episode that will air on Swedish TV tonight, Andreas Lundstedt performs "Just Like That (I Like It)" with his former female band members from Alcazar.
