Judas Priest Hell Bent for First Top 10 Album

Billboard (July 11th, 2014):

"Rockers Judas Priest could nab its first top 10 album ever on the Billboard 200 chart next week. Industry sources forecast the group's new set, "Redeemer of Souls" to sell upwards of 30,000 copies in the week ending July 13.

Next week's likely new No. 1 will be Sia's "1000 Forms of Fear," which might sell around 50,000 copies. Sam Smith's "In the Lonely Hour" is probably looking at the runner-up slot with maybe 45,000 or so.

Also heading for the top 10: Dirty Heads' "Sound of Change" with around 20,000 to 25,000."

Bloody hell! Of all the years I've loved and looned for Sia, I never imagined a US #1 album to be in the pipeline :o
The US seem to like her a tad more than the UK, and sales are very low over there. It's probably comparable to her getting #1 on sales of about 10k here :( But very impressive, and I've seen some Australian news sites reporting it so it seems to be a big deal for an Australian to get a #1 album. I imagine it will instantly be her biggest seller?
Unless she's trickle sold one of her old albums fairly well. I know she's always been pretty critically acclaimed over there.

She has had two top 40 albums before so it's not THAT surprising considering the low sales, although I'm very glad.

Some People Have Real Problems (#26, 2008) opened with 20k so I think it must have sold at least 100k by now.
