Starting to believe that 'On The Rocks' will miss the top 30 even if it manages an x-factor performance. It's got next to no airplay even with television snubbing 'On Your Rocks'.

 

It's not even top 1,500 on iTunes pop. 'Your Love', 'Boomerang' and 'Don't Hold Your Breath' are all in the pop 1,500!

I think she'll be back over promoting it pretty soon. She's definitely in the UK for the release date as she's doing the signing.

Hopefully she'll do some radio tours and some promo to get it played and generate some hype.. :(

Its a very weak song to release as the track to promote an upcoming album. I don't understand why this was even picked as a single.

She's been announced to be playing Grizabella in Cats when it returns to the West End in December :o

Agreed - can't see this doing well at all.

I'm thinking this could be a 'Lay Me Down' for her now. :o

'Lay Me Down' was actually top 1,500 on iTunes by now.

 

I'm guessing 'On The Rocks' will scrape top 40 but it will no doubt end her chances of having another radio hit which is a great shame. If she manages to get an x-Factor performance, Graham Norton performance / daytime shows then 'On Your Rocks' could go top 15. 'Your Love' managed to go top 10 due to promotion and she really needs to start promoting 'On The Rocks'.

Well she's not on this weekend so hopefully she's on next weekend when the albums out!

This has grown on me quite a bit, I'm even tempted to spend 59p to help her out this week. :kink:

 

I'm just still astounded it was chosen as a single!!!! It's nothing more than a nice album track.

I have to say it's grown on me too, it's still a travesty of a single choice but a nice album track nonetheless.
