I saw nothing wrong with the styling from the OYR era. I thought it was very on point actually, probably their best era yet style-wise. It was a good balance of classy and cool. LFTW and beyond has been incredibly weird. They go from booty shorts to ball gowns to fringy tank tops to catsuits to the midriff-baring shirt/grandma dress combo they're loving right now. Truly an identity crisis.

Radio 1 really like Angel Haze. Just sayin'

Also - THIS is why the person remixing 808 said it had swearing on it. So this version is a remixed version of what I assume is a single version ft. Angel Haze?

Edited by Joe.

JRMX have done WeLovePop and heaven remixes so I guess 3?

Can't wait for the single version ft Angel Haze if it exists.

This could have been ready for the next single, if the first and album had not flopped though. Could have been scrapped now, which is why it's leaking.

I'm thinking the same.

The harmonies during Rochelle's bit are so more obvious on the remix.

And Angel's rap is lush.

I'm starting to wonder whether we're actually getting a Christmas album. Has it actually been confirmed anywhere?

The girls had said all along that the next album was going to come this year.

Maybe Frankie had said 'an album at Christmas' and they confused that with Christmas album?

I'm just hoping they do release '808'.. I don't think it'd do any worse than WAYWF

Technically it could :kink: as it would be in a more busy time of the year if they were to release it. Yes it would have the same amount of airplay as 'What Are You Waiting For' (aka next to zero  ) and most likely just the same amount of promo, but yeah the busier times of the year would spin it down the charts.

It depends on what exactly is their situation. Can they keep on flopping, but keeping their head above the water with gigs, endorsement and theatre tours...or are they in a situation where they absolutely need to manage, at the very least, to sell singles again (and thus getting a top 10)? Depending on the answer to that, I can see '808' being released...or...well, them being more cautious and careful about it and release a brand new single that is a sure radio hit.

'808' being a dance song made me wonder if Radio 1 will bother at all. -_- I think a straight-pure-pop effort could at the very least get them more than 4 plays (that is what 'WAYWF' got, right?) Or maybe C-list for a week if they are lucky.

I know it could but I don't think it would.

On this forum alone people that don't usually connect with all their tracks came to this part of the forum to say they love it!

I think if 808 had the same AirPlay as WAYWF it would probably chart at #80.

Anything that actually gets picked up by the stations is gonna do better though.

Luckily there is no such thing as one week on the c list! Songs always get at least 3 weeks on the playlist.

Had a dream last night (more like a nightmare) that Rochelle left the band & released a single the same week as the girls new single, Rochelle charted at Number.1 & the girls charted at 10. Woke up really confused trying to figure out whether it was real or not.

It definitely wouldn't be real!

I think they would be better off releasing something completely new, perhaps something catering more towards the Strictly audience. I do love 808 though. If it was a success, they could always re-release FS in time for Xmas sales. i really want them to get the Children In Need single.

The Children in Need single has been announced.. And it's not them! :(

It's Gareth Malone's All Star choir!

Oh! I was fully expecting The Vamps or someone to get it.

I would dieeeeee :w00t:

I personally think they should give 808 a shot. It deserves to have a shot at chart success, and is good enough to get payed by actual clubs, where there other stuff is a bit more poppy, so usually doesn't. Plus if nothing else it may sell them another couple of hundred greatest hits albums.

I think if they got the release end of octoberish. It would chart well. But with a new album coming for Christmas (Christmas album or not) That seems unlikely. Unless they decided to make 808 the lead single off that album, which i wouldn't hate...

Sounds realistic and like the best thing ever!

That's not a dream. It's the future.
