the production on this is blinding, as is his voice - absolutely brilliant. if 'Hustler' wasn't so glorious I'd call it his best so far -- when is the album, please?

An album is sorely needed or even an EP with new stuff. This song is just beautiful, and in a completely different way to 'Hustler'.

This has leaked and it's so so beautiful :cry: :cry: (aware we've heard 3/4 of them before and the fourth is a cover of 'Diamonds' but together it's a perfect package).

 

Just imagining an album with these 4 tracks, 'Hustler', 'Every Night' and more :mellow: <3

ugh this is so so good. even the cover of Diamonds, a song I've never much liked, is exquisite - the emotion in his voice!!

Although I bought it I never appreciated 'Hustler' anywhere near as much as I should, seem to be properly growing to love it now. 'Shoot and Run' is just divine.

I think I prefer this version of Diamonds to Rihanna's, although adore both~

They are indeed both divine. This is such a good take on it, and i hope somehow Rihanna notices it, makes his name known and he blows up around the world, Lol...

 

I keep listening to the EP and just needing more and more. His voice is SO intoxicating.

So 'Diamonds' is top 40 on UK iTunes :o :mellow:

in other news, it's love. seeing him support Banks in a couple of weeks and booked for his LDN gig in March as I so regretted not going last month. singing the gospel to friends too. next big thing PLS.

Oh my, well whatever gets him the recognition he deserves is OK with me!! If this turns into a sizeable hit, he has to break through with his other material and not just be known for the cover.

Have been hammering 'Open Season' since hearing it for the first time last week - can confidently say it's one of my songs of the year already! 'Shoot And Run', 'Hustler' and 'Diamonds' are all exquisite in their own unique ways and won't stop growing on me. Going to spend the rest of the night listening to everything else of his I can find. :heart:

Very very late reply but YAYY i knew you'd find yourself a new love in him :wub: he doesn't have much out there atm but what he does have is splendid.

 

I can't think of any male artist i am more excited about hearing more from right now. Vocally and lyrically he is the brightest emerging star around for me.

my gig tickets came today, so early - who knows what wonders he'll release between now and then!

He will be featuring on Channel 4's 'Launched for 2015' at midnight tonight. Will be good to see what he says about the year ahead, musically!
