Her fanbase could get her in the Top 10.

Song in a different language... Top25.

The album version from Oral Fixation Volume 2 (and possibly the radio edit) is half in English and half in Spanish. So the song might do very well. But there's no video to the "spanglish" edit, because they made the track after the song's massive success in English-language markets last year.

 

I'm predicting the radio stations will get the English/Spanish version, and it'll be Top 5. Possibly No. 1 if there's nothing better out, but Top 5.

 

If they only release the spanish version, I say Top 20 for certain, possibly Top 10.

It's not really 50/50 Spanish/English though. It's more like 95% Spanish with two lines in English.

I believe they will release the Alternate Version (Single, Spanglish)... Not the Original

There isn't a Spanglish video though. In America the Spanglish version was just used for radios.

La Tortura's been added to the MTV channels now. The song should do well, I think.

That's good. It went up a bit on iTunes Latin chart today as well - it's been #8 for a while then went to #6 when it was added to the Hits and the Box and has now gone up to #3 (although it's only just this second dropped to #4 :( ).

Well she's Number 12 at the moment on iTunes, with HDL.

 

And LT seems to be gaining momentum, my local radio station just said they don't have the song to play yet, but will when they get it.

So is there any date for the release yet??

we should contact local stations to see if they'll play it, that is if sony send them a promo disc to use
