What a fantastic high note to end on. Ultraviolence really is an album highlight snd continues to grow every time I hear it on the radio, much better than West Coast for me.

Thanks

Ultraviolence is my 2nd favourite from the album after West Coast which is still to come later along with one other Lana song

Great stuff so far - glad to see 'I Knew You Were Trouble' here - my fave Taylor song of course, and loving the appearances of 'Chandelier' & 'Ultraviolence'

Oh and just did the latest section of my top 200 and whilst Cheryl doesn't feature in this section like in your chart, there are two appearances from her group ;)

Brilliant stuff as always!

Thanks for commenting Jade

I'll look at your top 200 section tomorrow as I am going to sleep now as I'm so tired. IKYWT is my 2nd favourite Taylor song after a re-entry still to come

Just to say if anyone guesses how many singles has received new certifications this week or the two remaining Taylor Swift re-entries, I will comment on your personal chart. If I already have commented, I'll add an extra few :)

Ella Eyre- If I Go

Chart-Run: 4-20-19-22-31-26

Release Date: 13th July

Chart Sales: +175k

Year To Date: 61

This has been neck and neck in mine and Jsilv's chart the last two weeks but this also changes this week as we have a 22 place difference. Ella Eyre rebounds with her debut single while Comeback slumbers on pre-orders [not top 1500]. If I Go could reach silver if it holds on for another couple of weeks which is very good after that first week drop-off

Cher Lloyd- Sirens

Chart-Run: 6-2-4-13-25

Release Date: 20th July

Chart Sales: +430k

Year To Date: 28 [2k off 26]

Sirens is now Cher Lloyd's 2nd biggest track after it passed With Ur Love sales total of 415k this week but remains way off Swagger Jagger's 985k which was when I loved it. Anyway Sirens is one of the biggest fallers this week as no airplay continues to affect it badly. It should start to recover a bit next week

If I Go climbed :cheer: We have very different chart positions for it this week

Chart-Run: 12-N/A-19-7-5-9-4-3-7-13-10-9-8-11-9-11-12-11-16-24

Release Date: 6th April

Chart Sales: +925k

Year To Date: 12

And Fancy falls out for the first ever time since April when it fell to 38 in it's 2nd week before rebounding. Fancy has been a massive success and this is it's 19th week in the chart. Also it has now passed 925k and should move up to 11 next week taking out crying for no reason which is on 935k

Chart-Run: 4-17-33-X-X-X-X-2-10-23

Release Date: 3rd August

Chart Sales: +260k

Year To Date: 48

And this weeks 2nd casualty from the top 10 is the 2nd of Lana Del Rey''s 3 singles in the top 40. Could this be the first week since March that Lana has not had any songs in the top 20. Anyway Money Power Glory continues to plummet as it is now obvious all the fans went out and bought it when it went to 2 and it's now just people outside the massive fanbase buying it

Release Date: 8th June

Chart Sales: +460k

Year To Date: 25

Despite being on track to hit the top 20 all week, Break Free stumbles at the last second and ends up falling a place to 22 but it is still definitely yet to peak so it's building up a nice run and good sales at the moment. Also Budapest falls out of the top 20 for the first time in it's 11th week. The song has been a massive hit as it enters the top 25 this year and is chasing 500k

So that's 7 songs out of the top 20 this week.

CONTENDERS FOR NUMBER 1

IGGY AZALEA FT RITA ORA- BLACK WIDOW

KIESZA- GIANT IN MY HEART

LEAH MCFALL FT WILL.I.AM- HOME

And reaching it's 4th highest peak in it's 7th week is Jess Glynne with Right Here which got boosted after I heard it a couple of times last night. Anyway it will be certified silver next week which is amazing feat for a dance song in my chart

And this section sees 3 songs tumble out of the top 10 in the form of Clare Bowen's track from Nashville, the 3rd single from A Perfect Contradiction which is back at 9 in the album chart [Album chart in OP now] and Neon Jungle's 4th and by far most successful single. Black Roses saw a random bump last week and has now spent 6 weeks in the top 20, Trouble With My Baby only managed 1 week but it is doing really well and is just off from 100k and Neon Jungle spent 4 weeks with Louder in the top 10.

All artists in this section had something bad earlier on the chart [Fancy finally out of top 20 and Rita out of top 40] but they now both have something good as Iggy and Rita's Black Widow climbs 15 places to 12 and is still yet to peak while the featured artist on Fancy- Charli XCX- rebounds 9 to 11 with her first solo single in my chart Boom Clap which continues it's very similar run and sales to Black Roses.

And 3 of the 4 remaining climbers today start the top 10 including two of this years biggest songs. Ghost could only 1 week out before sneaking back in at 10, Paloma Faith climbes again with Only Love Can Hurt Like This back into the top 10 for an 11th non consecutive week- 10 between the numbers 6-10 [and 8 weeks between 8-10]. Also Foxes reaches a new peak with Glorious which is now her third single in a row to not reach it's peak on it's 1st week. Anyway if airplay increases this week, expect another climb for it

Chart-Run: 3-6

Release Date: 10th August

Chart Sales: +185k

Year To Date: 60

Nicole is really having one of the biggest hits of the year with Your Love as the former 1 spends a 6th week in the top 10 only dropping a place to 7. The Saturdays also hold on well by only dropping 3 places with the lead single from this weeks number 1 album. What Are You Waiting For will be certified silver as it is less than 1k from 190k and it should continue to climb in the YTD charts

This was the week when Let It Go could have fallen out of the top 20. However I started to listen to it again quite a lot and I re-watched Frozen so it bounces straight back up for only a 32nd week in the top 5 and 36th week in the top 10. Let It Go is the 3rd biggest song ever in my charts and continues to be massive. Also Home held on well this week as it fell 2 places in it's 4th week and it will pass 700k next week

The Ting Tings- Wrong Club

Chart-Run: 2

Release Date: 17th August

Chart Sales: +90k

Year To Date: 75

Kiesza nearly spent another week in the top 2 but just missed out as Giant In My Heart fell to 3rd. Anyway it has already passed Hideaway in sales which is quite surprising as I prefer Hideaway but then that faced West Coast which hurt every single song's sales and airplay [apart from Let It Go of course]. The Ting Tings score their 3rd top 2 hit and their 7th or 8th top 10 hit with Wrong Club which debuted just over 90k- a great number saying their last top 10 was 6 years ago with Be The One when The Ting Tings were massive in my chart. Their biggest hits are That's Not My Name [2.46M] and Shut Up And Let Me Go [996k] and Wrong Club should become their 3rd biggest hit. A massive success for a song doing nothing officially.

Taylor Swift- Shake It Off

Chart-Run: 1

Release Date: 18th August

Chart Sales: +800k

Year To Date: 15

And what an unpredictable number 1 we have in my chart this week. What really matters though is how much style Shake It Off has done it in as it has scored the 2nd highest opening week sales of all time with around 802,000 despite only being on release for 5 and a bit days. Shake It Off is a massive contender to finish 2nd for the year [i don't think anyone will catch Idina] and this is now Taylor's 8th number 1 I believe. As you all know I absolutely love and adore this song to bits, it is an amazing pop song with amazing lyrics and amazing vocals

Thanks so much for reading and please comment  Thanks again

800k for Taylor!!! Fab!!!

Amazing chart and commentary as per usual Ultraviolence

Great re-entry for Mine, definitely one of my favourite old Taylor tracks. Great to see Iggy/Rita have a huge leap too. Glad Kiesza is sticking around too, I also prefer Hideaway though. Laaaavley numero uno too.

Great chart :)
