She REALLY needed to ditch the team, it was runnin her career into the ground. Glad she realised it.

We all knew she ditched her manager, Troy, team etc, ages ago after the 'Venus'/DWUW fiasco. So I'm guessing she's ditched her team from the 'G.U.Y.' campaign also. You can tell she's moving swiftly along, the fact that she's performing 'Brooklyn Nights' on tour now is very promising. As much as I hate to say this, I love ARTPOP, but Act 2 was going to flop even if she released a "nu Bad Romance" leading up to it.

 

I'm not quite sure whose team is handeling Cheek to Cheek, Gaga's/Tony's/Both? But whoever is handeling it should stick with Gaga long-term, it's her first spot-on campaign since The Fame Monster. And unlike everyone else, I have huge hopes for 'Cheek to Cheek' saleswise. The change in direction will only do good for her musical image and fanbase.

 

Im so proud of her. She's so happy again and on top of things, she's partying and 90% positive in everything she says and does lately - signs of the right attitude and a very bright future for Gaga. Come her next pop album, I'm not doubting that her true ability will shine through in a way everyone will appreciate her again - fanbase and general public! :cheer:

She needs to ditch ARTPOP and just release a new amazing pop album after Cheek To Cheek in around May next year. Brooklyn Nights as lead single with a killer video and killer campaign for the single/album. She also needs to tone down making claims such as her new album being one of the best of all time etc.

She should just release the 'Venus' video that she shot for a couple of extra sales!

Those claims, 'album of the millenium', etc, make her sound pretentious and as a friend said when he heard it, laughing and looking disgusted, 'full of shit'.

 

The Venus video would likely be career-killingly bad, if the rest of the campaign is anythin to go by.
