Chasing Lights SIMPLY MUST be top 10

I agree with this. The most beaut of a ballad they've ever done ❤

Edited by James ⭐

I think 'Chasing Lights' is a sure top 10, same for songs like 'Get Ready Get Set' and very much sadly 'White Lies'. -_-

I don't think it's their best ballad (Died In Your Eyes is miles ahead), but it's definitely up there. Especially the last 90 seconds or so.

I'm glad someone appreciates Died In Your Eyes, it's a Headlines! favourite

I don't know if I can live in a world where Karma and Denial are above Lease My Love :(

Died In Your Eyes is below average in every way.

20. Set Me Off - 7.20

Mean Score: 7.20

Overall Score: 173 / 240

Album: Chasing Lights

Number of 11's: 2

Number of 10's: 1

Number of -1's: 1

Highest Rate: 11 (Sociopath, Hurricane)

Lowest Rate: -1 (James)

General Comment: Okay so kicking off the Top 20 is one of my personal favourite Saturdays songs Set Me Off. From their debut album Chasing Lights, SMO is on the later half of the album but is one of the album highlights for me, anyway. When I saw it performed it live I screamed like a 6 year old and still have a soft spot for this to this day. It's so catchy and even Frankie sounds good. "Be aware, I am not your everyday babe" is one of the best Sats lyrics and Una's bridge is on another level. I always envisioned an office type video with the girls getting sledgehammers and chainsaws cars and F***ing up their bosses cars but anyway it received a lot of high scores including 10 8's. On the other hand it received 1 -1 and 2 3's.

19. Keep Her - 7.25

Mean Score: 7.25

Overall Score: 174 / 240

Album: Chasing Lights

Number of 11's: 0

Number of 10's: 3

Number of -1's: 0

Highest Rate: 10 (SB. , Totto, Scherz)

Lowest Rate: 3 (James)

General Comment: Surprisingly Keep Her achieved no 11's so it's incredible it made it to the upper half of the chart but it's probably also down to the flood of high score's. Also the lowest score it achieved was a 3 so overall it seems to be a well liked Sats song. Despite getting no 11's, it got 3 10's and a lot of 8's/9's. I think it's a great track and when I bought the Chasing Lights album, Keep Her was the first album track I heard so it really set the bar for the rest of the album tracks and even though I don't love it as much as I used too, it's still very catchy and the chorus reminds me a lot of Wordshaker (the song). I have realized though this sounds ten times better in the car compared to through earphones or a cd player. Also Vanessa's ad-libs towards the end of the song are a career highlight ok bye.

18. Leave A Light On - 7.25

Mean Score: 7.25

Overall Score: 174 / 240

Album: Living For The Weekend

Number of 11's: 2

Number of 10's: 2

Number of -1's: 2

Highest Rate: 11 (LeeWallace, Aprilconda)

Lowest Rate: -1 (AdamAloud, SB.)

General Comment: At 18 is the Living For The Weekend track Leave A Light On. Just like Lose Control, I expected this to chart higher but it seems to have settled. With the same score as Keep Her, Leave A Light On managed to receive 2 11's whereas Keep Her didn't so I placed it higher. It got 2 11's, 2 10's, 4 9's and 4 8's among with some fairly average scores. Written by Amber Riley from Glee, LALO was a fan favourite from the album's release and when NGU didn't exceed expectations, people wondered if LALO would have been a better single (It wouldn't have). I think it's a great track despite the "coming home" part sounding recycled and Rochelle's robotic vocals. Una probably sounds the best to me and it is quite catchy.

17. Lies- 7.27

Mean Score: 7.27

Overall Score: 174.5 / 240

Album: Chasing Lights

Number of 11's: 0

Number of 10's: 3

Number of -1's: 0

Highest Rate: 10 (AdamAloud, J▼hnkm, Martyn)

Lowest Rate: 5 (Cameron, Joe. , James, Scherz, Aprilconda)

General Comment: Unfortunately another Chasing Lights track leaves the chart as Lies respectably places at 17. Despite this, 2 Chasing Lights tracks still remain (Fall, Chasing Lights). Weirdly enough just like Keep Her, Lies received no 11's but on average received a lot of high scores ranging from 7-9 and 3 10's. The lowest score Lies received was 5 5's which is probably the highest lowest score yet. I think Lies is fantastic and Frankie sounds so good and it's one of their best album tracks in my eyes, despite being constantly overlooked. Vanessa's final vocal is also glorious and again it is a great car song to listen to.

Mow :(

16. Lease My Love - 7.29

Mean Score: 7.29

Overall Score: 175 / 240

Album: Living For The Weekend

Number of 11's: 2

Number of 10's: 2

Number of -1's: 1

Highest Rate: 11 (MissingYou, Totto)

Lowest Rate: -1 (AdamAloud)

General Comment: So the final Living For The Weekend track misses out on the Top 15 and rightly so. If there's one thing I've learned from doing this rate it is that LFTW is their worst album of their career and not even the holy trinity of What About Us/Disco Love/Not Giving Up can save it from the depths of album-hell where it belongs. To be honest I did think Leave A Light On would be the highest LFTW entry but Lease My Love takes that crown at 16. Co-written and Produced by the "legendary" Darkchild, Lease My Love (a Rihanna reject) was given to the girls and I still cannot listen to this track to this day. Screechy mess. I'd rather listen to a Jedward cover of No One on repeat for 8 hours than put myself through this mess. Despite my negative opinion, LML received 2 11's, 2 10's 6 9's and a lot of 7's so it must be listen-able to some people.

K, ya'll need to check yoselfs

Totto, you have relatively good taste if you like Keep Her and Set Me Off!

I like 'Died In Your Eyes' as well. The end especially.

Una sounds lush on it too.

Totto, you have relatively good taste if you like Keep Her and Set Me Off!

That's kind off true, I'd like to think that my taste is actually superior to all of yours or anyone that likes a certain song in the sats discography. But it could be on the same level as mine of course, but only if you rated Lease My Love an 11 (like MissingYou), wich all of you didn't by the way :)

Big mow :( for that.

I don't mind Lease My Love, not the worst track they've ever done nor is it their best in my opinion!

okay so I'm doing the results now in group's of 3's because it's easier...

12. Puppet - 7.64

Mean Score: 7.64

Overall Score: 183.5 / 240

Album: Headlines

Number of 11's: 2

Number of 10's: 1

Number of -1's: 0

Highest Rate: 11 (Hurricane, Juliano)

Lowest Rate: 3 (James)

General Comment: Surprisingly kicking off the Top 12 is the 3rd and final Headlines track: Puppet! Featured on the 2010 EP, Puppet received 2 11's, 1 10 and 9 8's along with a couple of 7's. The lowest score it received was a 3. It also received a couple of 4's but apart from that it seems Puppet is a generally well liked track . Una delivers a superb vocal towards the end, it's pure pop and probably the best album track from Headlines imo. The "La La La's" are extremely catchy and whenever I hear this song in my head I always visualize them performing this from the Headlines!

11. Do What You Want With Me - 7.66

Mean Score: 7.66

Overall Score: 184 / 240

Album: On Your Radar

Number of 11's: 3

Number of 10's: 2

Number of -1's: 0

Highest Rate: 11 (Jay, Jonjo, DoggySwami)

Lowest Rate: 1 (SB.)

General Comment: Placing at the unlucky 11th spot is the On Your Radar track: Do What You With With Me. Receiving 3 11's, 2 10's, 5 9's and 6 8's it's no wonder DWYWWM made it this far. The 7th OYR track so far on the chart meaning the Top 10 now contains 4 OYR tracks (Get Ready, Get Set, Faster, Last Call, White Lies). DWYWWM is probably the most "dub-step" The Saturdays have gone and probably will ever go. I'm not really a fan of the song myself too much but it is nice to listen to occasionally and it seems to be a fan-favourite considering it made it this high and received no -1's.

10. Here Standing - 7.85

Mean Score: 7.85

Overall Score: 188.5 / 240

Album: Wordshaker

Number of 11's: 1

Number of 10's: 3

Number of -1's: 0

Highest Rate: 11 (Martyn)

Lowest Rate: 1 (SB.)

General Comment: Kicking off the Top Ten is the mega ballad Here Standing! This is the 1st Wordshaker track to enter the top ten and ever since it's album's release, Here Standing has always been a favourite of mine. Even though it's about love, I always think this would be a good song to perform on the girls Greatest Hits Tour to the fans because without us who else would buy half their singles lmao joking. "You drained me off sadness and filled me back up with love" is also a personal carer highlight and the bridge is magnificent especially with Mollie's voice omg omg fangirl moment. Also Vanessa's ad-libs are flawless as usual. Receiving 1 11, 3 10's, 6 9's, 5 8's and 5 7's, Here Standing rightfully deserves a Top 10 placing.

I won't be banned for blasting my disgust of Here Standing :kink:

Here Standing making the top 10 is a huge shock, but a pleasant one as it's actually among their best ballads.
I'm quite surprised...It's good, but top 10? Wow. I know it was popular at the time, but I thought the general view on the song changed and was negative. It's a The Jam song afterall
