Got home just in time to see her dance and she was incredible. I think she's had the best scores for every dance she's done so far.

Not quite, but near.

She still got the best Paso, Cha-cha-cha, Foxtrot and obviously Tango but her Waltz and Charleston have been beaten.

I personally believed the song didn't do any justice to the dance AGAIN. She's been getting poor song choices. It's alright now because she's doing amazing, but I hope it changes the closer we get to the finals.

Is Pixie her biggest competition?

Technically, Pixie is indeed her biggest competition (she's 2nd on the overall leaderboard).

However, I don't exactly believe Caroline and Jake are out of the question either.

I think the public actually likes Jake more than the judges do. They seem to have lots to say about his technique (which is not as good as the public say). But since the public has a say in the whole thing, you never know how far will Jake go. Caroline could be a dark horse too. I think she's a bit off the radar because of Frankie and Pixie, but watch her get huge scores soon.

I know some people like to believe Mark is some sort of a black horse as well, but he isn't. The second he found himself in the bottom 2 with either Jake, Pixie, Caroline or Frankie, he's out. (Yes, it's bound to happen soon, one of the "potential winners" will find themselves in the bottom 2 sooner or later. I just hope it isn't Frankie... Well, she wouldn't leave, but I would prefer if she could not fall in the bottom 2 like ever. especially if she were to win the finals... )

You're forgetting that Judy is coming for Frankie like a dark horse.

But you're right. People who are in the bottom two, especially early on, generally don't do well containing on, regardless of how hey might improve. There can always be exceptions though.

It's hard to call the winner just yet, even though Frankie slayed this week, she wasn't amazing for me the past two weeks. Pixie and Caroline were looking like threats last week but were really clunky this week. It's difficult to call just yet.

Btw,

Scott and Alison were in the bottom this week. Scott went. Judy has got this, tbf

QUEEN FRANKIE SLAYING THE NATION WITH HER TANGO.

CAN WE TALK ABOUT HOW SHE LOOKS AMAZING WITH LONG HAIR + GREEN SKIN?!

Anyway, I'm thrilled that the couple that have left were who they were (if that makes sense?).

I was actually surprised how pretty the long hair (and the green skin as well actually ) looked. I think it's because she doesn't have the fringe which she had always kept before when trying long hair.

Regardless of who wins eventually, I think it's clear that when Frankie and Kevin go big, there are very few that could rival them.

I thought Pixie's tango was nice, but I think the song needed a more aggressive attitude. It reminded me of Frankie's Call Me Maybe, when the dance didn't really match the music. Pixie was more appropriate, but she still wasn't really up to it.

Frankie is such a brilliant performer because not only she is technically perfect, but she also adds that extra personality that makes the audience connect with her on an emotional level.

I'm so, so proud of her.

PS

'America' is still my favourite dance so far. I'd even say it's my favourite Saturdays-related performance.

Ohhh, I just noticed that while Frankie has gotten the first proper 10, (second overall) from Bruno she's also managed to get Craig's first 9 of the series as well, which is just as impressive!

It really is!

37 is such a good score, plus. :cheer:

Do you guys reckon we'll have a 40 score in this series? It seems like last series, there was a lot of 38-39-40.

I reckon Frankie will get there. I have a feeling the only reason they didn't give her more 10s last night it's because it's still too early in the competition. None of the four judges had given out a single 10 yet.

Most series get quite a few 40 scores, particularly in the finale. I didn't watch last year but the year before all three finalists got 40 scores at least once.

Well, yes, the italian one; :dramaqueen:

Her head was slightly ill positioned so I doubt anyone more than the over excitable Bruno would've given a ten. Craig most certainly wouldn't have as she only just about earned his first nine of the series!

I wanna see Frankie slay a Viennese Waltz next. Quickstep is my least favourite and she hasn't done that yet. At least she's gotten the awful foxtrot out of the way.

I wanna see her do a Samba and Salsa. It's sad she doesn't enjoy the latin dances as much as the ballroom. I guess she's more excited about a Viennese Waltz than the rest.

I really hope her and Kevin can go all the way, they've been so consistent with their performances. It's quite a strong year though, I can see Pixie/Caroline/Jake/Sunetra maybe even Mark giving her a run for her money.

I'm not worried about Sunetra or Mark but certainly the other 3 are ones to watch out for.

However, when she was first annocued, plenty of people on Popjustice were saying she'd be out by week 3, so she's proved them wrong at least.
