01. A cute story he told was about when Britney was recording the Oops album in Sweden with Max Martin. Britney and Max were trying to come up with lyrics, and Felicia was in the other room watching "Days Of Our Lives" episodes she had received by mail on tape since that was her favorite show. At one point she was crying, and Max walked in and asked her what was wrong. She just said "Oh I'm just crying watching the days" meaning the "Days Of Our Lives" TV show. Max was in a silly mood and decided to use that in Britney's Oops song, you know the lyric when she sings "I cry watching the days, but you see I'm a fool in so many ways."

02. He revealed that artists have to do extravagent things to shape their image. For instance, Larry was the one behind the Britney/Madonna kiss, and he orchestrated it so Britney would be in the spotlight, and so she could be on all the magazines. (Someone in the audience yelled out "we wished the kiss would have been longer.")

03. Larry said he had to shut down his law firm business about 4 years ago when britney skyrocketed and he had to be with her full time and had no time for nothing else.

04. Larry said he probably wont ever focus on one artist ever again like he did with britney because "once you are at the top of the top, everything else just isn't as exciting." He wasn't completely ruling it out, just said it wasn't likely.

05. He said he was with Britney for 8 years and when her and her parents came to him in 1995, he had to send her away and told her to remain a kid for a couple more years. She did just that and came back to him in 1997, and by then she was ready.

06. He confessed Britney is not the best singer, "she's above average though." He said when she was younger she sang from her diaphagm and was able to belt out a tune in a deep way. When she started singing for the whole pop thing, she changed the way she sang and started singing from her throat. This didn't allow her to have the range that she once had. And it remains that way till this day. He called her a "stylized singer," where she has a characteristic way of singing that no one can imitate, it is her own style and people like it. She doesn't necessarily have to belt like Christina for people to like her. He also said Britney is an ENTERTAINER, not really a singer. People are interested in her because of the show she can put on.

07. He said that in 5 years, the Britney Spears Brand made 2 billion dollars in record sales, ticket sales and merchandise. This gave britney a tremendous salary (obviously). This makes Britney Spears and the Britney Spears name a company, not just a person.

08. As her manager, he did everything for britney, things like writing up her will, helping her to buy that house with Justin, making sure her family was well taken care of - in other words, he did things not even related to her music career.

09. Larry said he feels like he did a very good job handling all the press she received. I think he did too. He didn't say anything bad about her, so I didn't get the impression that there was bad blood between them. He said the days of artists selling 20 million albums like Britney are over. Artists should now be glad if they sell a few hundred thousand. And for an artist to make a million today, he said that artist would have to sell at least 2 million copies.

10. When Larry brought Britney around to different record labels in 1997, 3 out of 4 record execs said definitely no to her, that there was no female pop solo artist out there, and all the market was for the boy band groups because the little junior high school girls were the main consumers. They didn't think for a second that little girls would want to look at another female artist as a role model. The record exec at Jive was the only one who agreed with Larry at the time, so they signed her.

It wasn't Britney who said that though, it was her assistant Felicia.
