i know it's a bit SHIT when you see VEVO next to an acts name, you assume the worst, an act caught in the micro-bubble of major label infame and a high budget video like this does nothing to change that but the whole package sort of alters the status quo. i hated this when i first heard it but it's easily one of the most interesting, against-the-system pop releases (tho to truly love you need at least a mild studio gibli appreciation)

 

bless her, it's like a modern day vv b, deserves so much more and at least a slight target audience...

 

Her voice reminds me of an early Gwen Stefani, especially on tracks like "Trapped In A Box". With that being said, her voice is what makes this sound so great, which is a rarity today in pop music.

 

That chorus is glorious.
