Girls Aloud were of course renowned for their amazing pop songs with cheeky, eccentric, genius lyrics.

First of all the number 1 Girls Aloud lyric of all time (and therefore cannot be disputed) is of course 'Without any meaning we're just skin and bones, like beautiful robots dancing alone' *.*

'I lie awake as day is dawning, burning pink and white, wondering if sheep count us when, they can't sleep at night'

'I want a stall at the fete selling strawberry shortcake, and walls that are very discreet'

'She's got undulating grundulating grinding hips'

'Spike heels and skin tight jeans, I've got a fist full of love that's coming your way baby'

Most possible it's my favourite

Daddy told me look into the future

Sit at your computer, be a good girl

And Mama said remember your a lady,

Think before your play and straighten your curls,

"Without any meaning, we are just skin and bone, like beautiful robots dancing alone" is my all time favourite.

I also love the whole chorus of 'The Show' in a completely different way:

"Shoulda known, shoulda cared

I shoulda hung around the iamspamspamamiin my underwear

Acting like a lady, you shoulda made me

Oh, shoulda jumped a little higher

I shoulda fluttered my mascara like a butterfly

'Stead of being lazy, it woulda saved me"

Wonderful.

EDIT: Okay so apparently one room of the house is a banned word here and therefore that chorus makes no sense. Whatever.

Oh so many!

I don't like the song that much, but 'Racey Lacey' is full of lyrical gold.

- "I know this girl, she's not too bright, but she's educated in bed alright

- "She's made seduction a work of art, a PhD with her legs apart"

- "A connoisseur of satin sheets"

and from other songs...

- "Got the keys, got the gasoline pour it on I'm ready to blow"

- "Watch the needle when you're heading south"

- "You say you played at Reading then you chart at 57"

- "Should've come with a party map so I know where the night will take me"

- "I don't need no special fix to anesthetise me"

- "I can't deny the way my dirty mind is saying 'lover, come and get me'"

- "I don't do sex, but I do second base, so I suggest you wipe that frown from off your face"

- "Your kisses taste of cyanide and that's no good for me, an open heart is suicide in my philosophy"

- "I need a walking talking mannequin that simply folds away, and never questions anything I've got to say"

- "It's never winter when it's Donna Summer all year long"

- "I remember living the dream, twenty minutes in the hotel bar then I slip into your girlfriend's jeans"

- "Last night I thought I died and found myself in heaven, I saw my spirit fly with angels dressed in leather"

- "Was it just the margaritas or are you lookin' at me?"

- "Why don't you call? Got your number, got your back on my wall"
