Thanks Dan! Loving the new SWIM track a lot! Not as much as No More Tears of course, but it should enter my chart later today. He's got a bit a signature sound across his all his songs  First Day of the Year and Love are also really good

139: X CLUB. 'Elevation' (Journey Mix)

I first heard (and saw) this at a Sunday house party two weekends ago and have been obsessed ever since. The "journey" in brackets is exactly what it is

141: Vitesse X 'Us Ephemeral'

Vitesse X's affinity for blending elements of dream-pop, drum & bass percussion, and vaporwave is made immediately apparent with this track's hypnotic yet energetic feel. Vitesse X's hazy vocals flow seamlessly over a mix that is so cathartic and refreshing you'll be forgiven for canceling therapy this week. Released alongside the single, the video for "Us Ephemeral" features a warm and nostalgic feeling that works well to complement the track's unique tranquility. Armed with a vintage camcorder, scenes of our hero in nature and with her friends work to amplify the nostalgic and melancholic energy of "Us Ephemeral".

Stunning dream pop with vaporwave elements. Vitesse recently supported Magdalena Bay on tour and is an incredible rising talent. The production on this is something else

143: Skin on Skin & X CLUB. - Rise Up

An vivid and hyperreal journey transporting the minutiae and ultimately transforming normality into the majestic.

I'm loving the driving energy, definitely heard some 'hoover synth' there in the mix and getting definite Prodigy vibes from this inc the delightfully chaotic breakbeats.

Hopefully this will be another successful entry for you.

Ty for the love! It's an amazing track & hopefully the far and few fans point it enough for it to qualify 🙏

I actually almost sent something that sounds pretty similar to this a few months back Kath, but was waiting to possibly use it in Unknown Pleasures or somewhere else.

It's sounding good - as ever - though anyway. I should imagine a safe Q is in order for you here.

BJSC 144: Overmono - Bby

In the words of a youtube commentator: The tension that is resolved at 4:14 is one of those moments to live for. Exceptional piece. Thank you for your work Overmono. That is a terrific piece. The blend of the broken beat, the percussion and the wobbly bass is magnificent.

BJSC 146: Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal - B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All)

'B.O.T.A’ is a supremely fun, suave, 4×4 anthem with plenty of swagger and flirtatious lyrics that permeate your mind. It’s produced by ATW Records founder Interplanetary Criminal and oozes just the right dose of playful, future nostalgia to entice you into Eliza’s mischievous world.

It is accompanied by a music video that celebrates the LGBTQ+ performance community, the spaces and characters that make it, and who defy the gentrification of the area.

Ty for the hype bestie *.*

I spotted it on the Spotify Altar playlist recently too which focuses on alternative electronic music so I'm hoping it can cross over to both pop and alternative voters this time. It's such a fun 90s homage and perfect for the summer

#93 in today's official chart *.*

I'm loving this myself!

Omg just noticed that! Without even entering Spotify or Apple main charts. Insane.

I'd never thought it would start taking off like this when I first heard it a month ago. So happy the mainstream are embracing a female dance/electronic act like this

BJSC 147: Pretty Girl - Forever

Pretty Girl is a rising female electronic DJ from Australia who honed her skills with Ableton Live, analog gear, and sound design, pairing everything with her delicate vocals.

The subtle and dreamy "Forever" is an emotionally loaded music to cry or dance to. The sound revolves around a sentient and warm-blooded breed of dance music that can stir a dancefloor as much as it can soundtrack a walk home.
