Guillemots - Trains To Brazil

Guillemots release their splendid new single 'Trains To Brazil', which was originally given a limited release last year. Of course, you couldn't actually get a train to Brazil from the UK, because at some point you would have to fly or sail, but the sense of adventure and excitement is perfectly channeled through the song. And talking of excitement, levels have recently been off the scale recently as the band have received a Mercury Prize nomination for their debut 'Through The Window Pane' and with William Hill currently offering 3/1, it's definitely worth a punt. - HMV

track listing

* 1. Trains To Brazil [Album Version]

* 2. White Rag [Demo]

* 3. Blue Eyes

Brilliant track. ^_^ Really didn't like it at first but its grew on me loads although I think it would do a lot better in the charts if it was released closer to Christmas and it really has a Chrismasy feel to the song.
It has the best ending in the world ever and sounds like the Frank and Walters. It's also the only good thing they've ever done and probably will ever do. It also DOESN'T NEED TO BE RELEASED AGAIN!

But surely if they want to make it they have to release the best songs? So in that sense it does need to be released again.

Why 12? That's a bit random isn't it. :huh:

The song when released last year got disqualified from the chart due to a rule infringement. It would have charted at #12.

well in that case, think i might have a look around for some tracks of their's too.
