Will Young clearly did his research on the lyrics to Womack & Womack’s deceptive toe-tapper Teardrops, as his desolate rendition exposes how downbeat the song really is.

I love how Will manages to show us how different a song can sound and the lyrics take on a different meaning when slowed down. He's done that with several upbeat originals now.

 

I've bought the album and I love all the songs. So great to hear some oldies :D
