April 10, 201510 yr I also underestimated it to begin with and believed 'Not on Drugs' was a better single choice, was that even properly pushed as the 2nd single by the way? It's weird for me how that did nothing, because for me it's still far superior. I'm still on board with Talking Body becoming a hit because it's better than most stuff out there but I did go through a period of listening to it a lot and I definitely prefer plenty of other Tove Lo songs to this one. I guess it's catchy though and I still have time to get on board with it in a hit concept (because I would never have thought it could until a couple of weeks ago).

I was initially in the frame of mind "if 'Not on Drugs' couldn't do anything, 'Talking Body' wouldn't either". But all the hype surrounding song recently has now made me prefer it over 'Not on Drugs' However, I've noticed that according to Headline Planet, her label "replaced 'Not on Drugs'" with 'Talking Body' as the 2nd single I think her Alesso feature helped her out quite significantly and put her in a better position than she would have been after a general "out of nowhere" smash like 'Habits'. For me, 'Talking Body' is one of the more pop radio accessible and low key tracks in comparison to the rest of the album which is rather dark and hard-hitting by contemporary pop standards

It's getting there, slowly but surely! Just topped the US Dance Chart so there's 1 already :D Should climb into the top 20 on Billboard next week hopefully and it's still doing fantastically on radio.

Just topped the US Dance Chart so there's 1 already :D Should climb into the top 20 on Billboard next week hopefully and it's still doing fantastically on radio. Well, I definitely hope so. It's such a jam. Filled with amazing hooks. I really thought it would be a bigger hit than 'Habits' when I first heard the album.
April 18, 201510 yr I am fully on board with this now, I've had it on repeat the past few day. I feel like the slight change in lyrics on be clean version sucks quite a bit of life from the song. I do agree with Timmy to a degree and still worry NOD would have smashed a bit more and may have been a wiser choice but I am loving this so much at the moment.:heart:
