General sales are down approx 50% from what they were in the early noughties so that equals like 13m in 2004, huge!!

I think you have to take into account the type of release it is though (for any album when making time comparisons). It's a Disney soundtrack and a massively popular kids movie - is the market for something like that gonna be down as much as the general market is? Obviously it would have sold more in 2000, but not quite double I imagine.
