September 11, 200618 yr The opening and closing shoot-outs in John Woo's "Hard Boiled" are utterly astounding, "The Killer" also has some unbelievably impressive set-pieces.... "Heat" has an amazingly choreagraphed shoot-our as well, half-way through the film... The scene in "Full Metal Jacket" where the grunts try to take out an unseen assassin who is shooting to pieces one of their exposed comrades is pretty gut-wrenching stuff as well..
