#87: Under Control by Calvin Harris & Alesso featuring Hurts

Year of release: 2013

Peak: #1

2013: #16

The lead single from Motion, preceding before the slightly-underwhelming Summer and the utter travesty that is Blame, Under Control got the album to a very good start (which would be ruined 10 months later). It was originally rumoured that this wouldn't actually end up of the album at all.

#85: Good Enough by Little Mix

Year of release: 2013

Peak: N/A

An album song from Salute.

Mr. Blue Sky is a great classic song. Shame it doesn't constantly re-enter like some other tracks

Last Night is also a good track. I assume you have some other Vamps coming up :P

Under Control is also a good track, shame it couldn't have held up better than some of his HINT recent tracks :drama:

#82: Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars

Year of release: 2014

Peak: #1

I don't think I need to give a description here.

I suppose it would be higher when you make your 2015 chart, assuming you will keep listening to it :D

Or it might fall if you get bored of it so high in the chart all the time...

#81: My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion

Year of release: 1998

Peak: #1

2013: #54

One of the top 40 best-selling singles of all time (though not the best-selling single in this countdown, as four songs in this countdown have sold more) and the theme song to Titanic.

#80: Human by Christina Perri

Year of release: 2013

Peak: #14

Christina Perri's third single, this held up very well in its first four weeks, before surprising us all by dropping down like a rock.

Human's vocals is amazing :cheer:

And I was also surprised it fell quickly. To not overperform like A Thousand Years and Jar Of Hearts is rather odd

#79: Turn Back Time by Sub Focus

Year of release: 2013

Peak: #10

This song also had a strange run, it spent two weeks in the top 40, then dropped out due to the New Year Week effect, and then re-entered at #30 on the chart update. What shocked me was that by the Sunday it had soared to #15. Reaching its peak a week later, it then sadly went down way too quickly.

Also surprising is that no one auditionned with this on the X Factor last year. I thought it had the potential to be the next I Won't Give Up, but I guess that went to Say Something.

Turn Back Time  :music:

I missed Sub Focus last year :nocheer: I hope he's got some tunes this year. It seems Wilkinson and Gorgon City are taking over!

#78: Counting Stars by OneRepublic

Year of release: 2013

Peak: #1

2013: #10

OneRepublic's first (and so far only) number one, though some songs written by Ryan Tedder will appear later. Also, this now is a million-seller (which reminds me that I'm going to do a ranking of all the million-sellers soon).
