January 13, 201510 yr Author #127: Real Love by Tom Odell eZLYp-jgx-I Year of release: 2014 Peak: #7 The soundtrack to this year's John Lewis, this is vastly superior to Lily Allen's cover of "Somewhere Only We Know".
January 13, 201510 yr Author #126: Something I Need by Ben Haenow zLBaaN2sqlc Year of release: 2014 Peak: #1 I honestly do not get it. What is it that makes seemingly over 95% of Buzzjackers hate this song? It's a really good song, much better than Little Mix's Cannonball. Sometimes I wonder if some people on this site aren't just discriminatory towards people from The X Factor (and all the Ella Henderson bashing, even if it's to wind up an user, is not doing anything to counter this).

Exactly :nono: I like it and I also love James Arthur's Impossible performance. I bet BJ hates that track as well :drama:
January 13, 201510 yr Author #125: Talking To Ghosts by Foxes CfjPI7TF37o Year of release: 2014 Peak: N/A Sampling "Dr. Mabuse" by Propaganda, Talking To Ghosts is the first track on Glorious.
January 13, 201510 yr Author #124: Jealous by Labrinth 50VWOBi0VFs Year of release: 2014 Peak: #7 The second single from Labrinth's second album. I find it very relatable. Also, here is him and Ella Henderson's duet on this song (and Ghost) at the BBC Music Awards: 7mjk9oLzpws
January 13, 201510 yr Author #123: What I Did For Love by David Guetta featuring Emeli Sandé 9fL5iWgWwno Year of release: 2014 Peak: #24 Despite not being officially released as a single, this reached #24 after they performed on The X Factor. Hopefully it will be released as a single and chart higher.
January 13, 201510 yr Actually there was an official upload to YT (official audio was it?) a couple of days ago since I sub to Guetta's channel  so a release is likely :) Edited January 13, 201510 yr by SPINUMINATI ADAM

January 14, 201510 yr Author #122: Wait On Me by Rixton Z8Q7_mMj9po Year of release: 2014 Peak: #12 This song had a disastrous chart run, for whatever reason.
January 14, 201510 yr Author #121: Mr. Brightside by The Killers gGdGFtwCNBE Year of release: 2003 Peak: #10 2013: #24 Despite spending only 3 weeks in the top 40, this has re-entered quite a lot, to the point it has now spent 114 weeks in the top 100 (including 3 more in the top 40 after they performed on the X Factor Final in 2013). It is fourth for most weeks in the top 100, behind Frank Sinatra "My Way (124 weeks), Kings Of Leon "Sex On Fire" (124 weeks) and Snow Patrol "Chasing Cars" (166 weeks). Other songs to have spent 100 weeks in the top 100 include The Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling" (109 weeks), Take That "Rule The World" (102 weeks) and Kings Of Leon "Use Somebody" (100 weeks). January 14, 201510 yr Actually there was an official upload to YT (official audio was it?) a couple of days ago since I sub to Guetta's channel  so a release is likely :) Great! Actually I was reading this thread on my mobile device which does not pre-load the thumbs. The video you embedded (official lyric) was uploaded two days ago, not the audio which is the video I was referring to:lol: Its description says thusly: "Lyric video from David Guetta’s new single What I Did for Love" However Wikipedia says "It was released as a digital download on 22 November 2014 in the United Kingdom" which is the same date it was performed. However this is the download release not the full release IAAC :kink: How come your username is dotted and in italics at the bottom? By the way to save posting again Wait On Me is good but as expected fell quickly in the chart :( Edited January 14, 201510 yr by SPINUMINATI ADAM

January 14, 201510 yr Author #120: On Top Of The World by Imagine Dragons w5tWYmIOWGk Year of release: 2012 Peak: #34 2013: #4 A slightly more pop than rock song, and Imagine Dragons's only appearance in this down (so no Demons), I originally discovered this through the trailer for DreamWorks Animation's The Croods. And then it entered the top 40 after Night Visions' UK release in March 2013 (it's US release was in September 2012) and then I learned what it was called.
January 14, 201510 yr On Top Of The World is amazing :D I remember seeing it continuously re-entering the top 100 in 2013
January 14, 201510 yr Author #119: Real Love by Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne qdo_-U4PEsk Year of release: 2014 Peak: #2 So Clean Bandit & Jess Glynne win the battle of the Real Love here. However, in all fairness, Tom Odell is only 8 places behind, whereas the last time two songs of the exact same name appeared on the same Now album (Now 85), the winner was very clear. Mainly because one of them was absolute garbage, although better than his previous monstrosity called Gangnam Style. The other, by a girlgroup who will be appearing in five songs time, was actually quite underwhelming for them, but obviously was much better than the other Gentleman.
January 14, 201510 yr Author #118: It's On Again by Alicia Keys featuring Kendrick Lamar Okn0WpJqgHE Year of release: 2014 Peak: #31 Film song next, as this came from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (which apparantly wasn't any good) soundtrack. This sadly only made it to #31, before falling 2 places on Eurovision week, and then instead of climbing due to the departure of all the Eurovision songs, fell out of the 40, then out of the top 75 and out of the top 100. Let's hope Love Me Like You Do by Ellie Goulding from the 50 Shades Of Grey soundtrack does better. Edited January 14, 201510 yr by Taylor Jago
January 14, 201510 yr Author #117: Wrapped Up by Olly Murs featuring Travie McCoy niLMQsD9ZG4 Year of release: 2014 Peak: #3 Olly Murs next with the first single from his fourth album. This is much better than Dance With Me Tonight.
January 14, 201510 yr Author #116: Glow by Ella Henderson DKRRg150OYU Year of release: 2014 Peak: #7 Ella's second single (and tenth appearance in this countdown), Glow unfortunately misfired a bit. Just to say, it got beaten by Anaconda. :nocheer: :???:
