Doing well in the US so far, already #25 on iTunes and steadily climbing. Hopefully the UK will follow suit.

Sounds like Notorious by Duran Duran to me. Hugely 80's influenced as well. Not a bad thing at all. Solid return for both Mark & Bruno. Can see it being huge next year!

It's giving me more of a 70s Disco vibe than 80s.

I really like it though.

It also has a radio deal in the US. I'm expecting big things with its appearance on the Billboard Hot 100.

VIDEO

Quite a suitable video for the song, nothing too exciting there though...

If the US iTunes performance is anything to go by, it looks set to be a big hit in the new year! Yesssssss, was initally unsure what Mark's comeback would do.

He also premiered a new song last week with Kevin Parker of Tame Impala:

Also worked with Miike Snow’s Andrew Wyatt (again) and Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford as well as Michael Chabon, an author, on the lyrics. Stevie Wonder also plays the harmonica on the intro for the album

Uptown Funk (feat. Janelle Monae)

Seriously, though, the angles are VERY weird and Bruno looks like a lady for the most part of the video. His outfit doesn't help much.

I got the impression that he's trying to imitate Michael Jackson again from watching the video.

It's a catchy song, no doubt about it that it's going to be very huge. I can see it becoming one of next year's overplayed hits already.

god, i honestly think this such a fantastic tune and going to rinse every moment before it gets played into oblivion and becomes a future wedding staple a la 'get lucky'

Killing it!

#65 on Billboard this week. Slay me Mark!

OK, I can tell this is gonna become very overplayed in time when it inevitably smashes, but for the moment, it's pretty great. Ronson's swing-like production is as fine as ever and Bruno Mars is suitably cast too.

Wow, just heard this and it's one of those cases where you just immediately know something is going to be HUGE. So infectious, packed with hooks, impeccable production.

Definitely agree this could become the Get Lucky of 2015, if only in the sense I can see it kickstarting a big funk trend and Ronson being a huge name appearing on everyone's tracks, a la Pharrell. Perfect comeback though.

that live performance was INCREDIBLE, i never realised bruno was such a talented live vocalist :o

'Feel Right' feat Mystikal is the first instant grat from the album:

Sounds like a slicker updated version of something that could have been on 'Here Comes the Fuzz'!

Ronson being a huge name appearing on everyone's tracks, a la Pharrell.

Hopefully! :D

Excellent performance. Can see this definitely being a song to remember in 10-20 years, even longer.

I wasn't keen until about 1:07, and then yeah, fair play, this is awesome :)

There's been so few mega hits over the last couple of years I've actually enjoyed so it'll be awesome if this does buck the trend and becomes a deserved #1!
