September 12, 200618 yr Author i'm not dead goes massive! I'm Not Dead is still seeing massive success, an amazing 23 weeks after its release! The album re-entered the Top 10 this week, and is set to make its home there for the next few weeks! It's already thundered past the platinum mark, and looks set to hit even higher so congratulations go out to Lady P!nk. We can also confirm that U + UR Hand is now a massive hit, moving up the national airplay charts to number 6! And of course, it's still doing incredibly well in the chart, at number 15! Way to go P!nk!

September 22, 200618 yr Author 21.09.06 ZOOEY REPLACES P!NK AS JANIS JOPLIN Elf actress Zooey Deschanel has replaced singer Pink as Janis Joplin in the biopic Gospel According To Janis, reports IMDB.com. The Get the Party Started singer pulled out of the Penelope Spheeris film earlier this year and, after much speculation, Deschanel was selected to take over the role. The script focuses on former Rolling Stone writer David Dalton, who was once assigned to write a cover story comparing the troubled Joplin to Judy Garland. Dalton accompanied the singer on a long tour, and his adventures have become the central plot for the film. Deschanel has spent the past four months working with a vocal coach to help her mimic Joplin's gritty vocals, and she will sing all of Joplin's songs featured in the film. According to producer Peter Newman, it has been a struggle to find an actress who could sing or a singer who could act. He says, ``Zooey is the first we found who excels at both.'' Filming will begin Nov. 13 in Philadelphia.

November 30, 200618 yr Author I'm Not dead's fourth single Nobody Knows was physically released last week and made a leap from 87-27 on the singles chart. I'm Not Dead moved up from 24 to 18 on the UK album chart, it is edging closer and closer to that UK double platinum status and is currently the UK's 11th best selling album of the year so far! The Try This DVD entered the DVD chart at number 7 this week and P!nk currently has her three latest singles all still in the top 50 UK Radio airplay chart. Commercial music today is definately P!nkafied, if you have not got your copy of the single with the exlusive b-side Words or the Try This concert DVD then what are you waiting for?

Pink will be playing her final UK show at Wembley Arena tonight as the first G-A-Y night outside of the Astoria in central London. Expect a big party because this sell out tour has been amazing! February 12, 200718 yr pink deserved it over christina this time, Hmmm. I'll agree P!nk deserves the Brit more than Christina does, but as most people in here already know, IND performed rather badly in the USA, and the only real, proper single release has been Stupid Girls because there has just been no interest from radio etc. So since the Grammy's are a US based awards ceremony I think they made the right choice. However if I had to pick who deserved The Brit award it would be either Nelly or P!nk.
