Posted September 11, 200618 yr The only time singer Celine Dion could get to see Cirque’s new first-ever monster rock musical touring show ‘Delirium’ was Saturday afternoon, but the only two shows presented at the MGM Garden Arena were both late-night, while she was performing on stage. The same problem existed for other Strip stars and, worse; all the fellow Cirque performers at our five permanent shows wouldn’t be able to see it either. To the rescue -- in between 2 rushed Vegas weddings I’ll tell you about later -- came Karl Baumann, the aerial actor star of 'Delirium,' who has lived in Vegas since 1993 when he came to open 'Mystere.' By wonderful coincidence, his wife is Celine’s wardrobe manager at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace, and she told the singer about her husband’s show and how they were looking to a one-week break from the tour together at home here. That led to Karl and the 'Delirium' cast and crew agreeing to do a private show Saturday afternoon for Celine and all the Cirque performers from 'Mystere,' 'O,' 'Zumanity,' 'KA' and the new 'LOVE' Beatle musical, as well as members of the rival 'Le Reve' in the Wynn.
