Blank Space really is excellent, think it has overtaken Mine as her best single now for me. Hope it continues to grow in the UK into a top 5 hit. I'd like to see the next single smash too, hopefully Bad Blood/OOTW/Wildest Dreams.

Stupid Little Things is WAY WAY too low. Easily gonna be top 3 when I do mine. (which starts this weekend, hype)

Stupid Little Things is her best track in years tbf, I kinda forgot about it once it left my chart hence the low positioning but I really like it still :heart:

A whole section of flash-in-the-pan top 10 hits now, aside from an Iggy album track and MAGIC!'s hit Rude, which was pretty much out of the chart just as it became big in the UK lol. Naturally, Crazy Stupid Love was ahead of it every week. Just how it should've been officially (at least she got the #1 yasss). It's dedicated to Iz anyway ^_^ McFly's Love Is On the Radio is the first song of theirs I really enjoyed, and its chart run looks a lot better than the official run. :lol: Tinie Tempah makes his first and only appearance as a lead artist, although of course will feature later on as a feature. Molly takes the Eurovision count up to 3, followed by a BJSC entry from a couple of years ago in Frontside Ollie by Finnish artist Robin. I totally forgot this track existed, hence it only impacting this year, but it's a huge guilty pleasure. Lady Gaga and Ashley Roberts are next, this is the last appearance for both, before two BJSC potentials of mine that never happened. Yes, I actually was planning to send Paris Hilton. Feel free to judge me.

Ah GUY, I actually briefly really liked that song. Shame is charted at number #36272

:lol: I do really like G.U.Y in all fairness, although I didn't enjoy it as much as I'd hoped at the artRAVE. Not that it was bad, more that other songs just outshone it really.

4 Lily Allen

 

IT'S HARD OUT HERE FOR A BITCH, as Lily Allen doesn't quite make the top 3. Her comeback was highly anticipated by me (and several others) and it didn't disappoint at first - Somewhere Only We Know was a lovely cover and Hard Out Here is her best song yet imo. Lead Balloon, whilst a good track, was an awful single choice however, and Our Time was even worse. Commercially speaking of course, I enjoyed all the new material and whilst it wasn't quite as good as It's Not Me, It's You, I never actually expected it to be that good and Sheezus was a brilliant album. URL Badman should've been released sooner so it could've gone top 40. :(

Ahhh I loved Lily's album but Hard Out Here was the ONLY single choice I liked. I wish Sheezus was properly pushed forward. <3

Pixie Lott is at #149 with her only appearance. Caravan of Love is a gorgeous track and waaay better than anything she released from her self-titled third album. Justin Bieber's best Music Mondays track is at #148 followed by Alyssa and Iggy album tracks. Mariah Carey makes her first appearance of two with Thirsty at #145, a fantastic track. Was it a single? Was it not a single? Who knows, it all got a bit messy after the album's release. The Elusive Sales. Little Mix are up next with Little Me, followed by another BJSC potential of mine (that actually went top 40!!! WHY DO NONE OF MY ACTUAL ENTRIES DO THIS) in Revolution. Alyssa Reid's interpretation of Defying Gravity appears at #142, before Lily Allen's promotional single As Long As I Got You rounds out this section.

As long as I got you is amazing, my joint favourite single from Sheezus. Great to see Lily in your favourite 5 artists this year :wub:

Children of the universe is also great and I still wish it came so much higher in Eurovision. But :puke2: at this great song being next to that magic torture

And while I am going through these 2 songs, it was Children Of The Universe denying ALAIGY from keeping its midweek #1 in my chart

Revolution :wub: Great to have another fan of it who isn't Ethan (although you probably charted the vocal mix whereas I much prefer the instrumental version :kink:)

This is where things really step up! Double Ella Henderson and Charli XCX now, both the 2nd and 3rd highest tracks for their respective artists (not hard to guess what their #1 tracks are). Glow was sadly quite disappointing for me following Ghost but it's a lovely track regardless, even if I prefer album track and X Factor audition song Missed. Charli XCX peaked higher with Break the Rules although Boom Clap ultimately stood the test of time better, Break the Rules got boring quite quickly sadly. In between the Charli and Ella sandwich is Lewis Watson, with the highest song in this list not to chart. Castle Street ended up being a huge grower from his album for me, wonderfully sang. Lewis still has four more songs to come in this countdown! Female singer-songwriters and classic Joseph favourites Lucie Silvas and Delta Goodrem appear at #134 and #135, both with covers. Both tracks are below the standard I'm used to with both these artists but neither are BAD by any means. Lucie still has one more track to come. Little Mix make their last appearance with Salute, my second favourite single of theirs (behind How Ya Doin'? with Missy Elliott - the album version is less good). Shakira is at #132 with Empire before IT'S FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUSE at #131, the first time out of three this countdown.

Its Fuuuuuse, he probably has THE most catchy discography of any artist ever. I'd say Azonto is probably my favourite of his but all of them are great, they do tire pretty quickly on me though. I think Million Pound Girl might be my least favourite though :o

 

I did quite enjoy Shakira's comeback on the singles front although I never gave the album a listen. CRTFY was a great single I thought and I loved the vibe of it. I loved Empire's chorus too. La La La was so euphoric and perfect for the World Cup season so that was good too. Wish her comeback was met better commercially though..

 

Little Mix are usually quite hit with me but it took a long time for me to like Salute, it all felt a bit odd for me but it definitely worked its magic on me in the end. Excited for what they come back with in 2015, hope it's something along the lines of DNA because that's my favourite of theirs.

I think I'd rank Fuse's singles as Dangerous Love > Antenna > T.I.N.A. > Million Pound Girl > Azonto, but all are really good and his album was very enjoyable too :lol:

 

Shakira's album was pretty good! Less CRTFY style anthems though and it was a bit more subtle but a nice listen anyway. I feel it could've done a lot worse considering the complete lack of radio support she got! (found that very odd as she's a huge name and still relevant)

 

Salute did take a little while to properly hit me, it was the BGT performance that did it in the end!
