Awful top 2, seriously big awful awfulness.

excuse me but this isn't your albums countdown thread I'm afraid, you took wrong turn ;_;

Beyonce's album is good and what a perfect #1 album from the best album this year

Definitely agree with your highlights, SIO/WD/BS being 3 of my favourite 4 from the album (along with the one you find a bit overrated :kink:) and it is just the perfect album

haha snap with the top 2 albums in the same order ! :funky: and 'x' was my number three

yes at flawless being a highlight, loved it from the start. not sure if i prefer the original or the remix. i miss the 'bow down bitches' so much but nicki's verse just kills me every time  Pretty Hurts was my original highlight too, the sort of song I wanted from her this era

1989 has definitely been my album of the year. Blank Space is definitely her career highlight for me now, just a perfect pop song. Wildest Dreams is stunning too, really should be a single down the line. Kind of hope Style isn't the next single because there are a few I'd pick before that but it's still great anyway.

That top 3 though <3

Tinashe and Beyoncé you know i love anyway, but Taylor has really been the surprise of the year for me. I didn't even LIKE her pre-this album () but this album has exceeded all of my expectations and i cannot deny that it is a near perfect pop record. It will continue to dominate throughout 2015 too going on the amount of smashes she has lined up from it, so i look forward to that. Very worthy #1~

I really need to check out that Tinasha album. 2 On has grown on me so much in the past few weeks due to parties (http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) and the love it gets is crazy!

Yaaass for taste.

Someone really should do a remix of the remix with the "bow down bitches" added in

Style would be my top choice for the next single I think <3 It'd be a huge hit too I think.

MØ love. <3

It was worth the wait *.*

1989 converting those haters *.* I hope she has a couple more top 10s left in her this era, I definitely think she does!

Here we go with the singles...

150 Indila - Tourner dans la vide (#19 peak)

149 Ella Eyre - If I Go (#21 peak)

148 Jessie Ware - Tough Love (#11 peak)

147 Dean Ray - Coming Back (#11 peak)

146 Rebecca Ferguson - All That I've Got (#15 peak)

145 One Republic - Love Runs Out (#34 peak)

144 Yseult - La vague (#27 peak)

143 Beyoncé - 7/11 (#29 peak)

142 Marlisa - Yesterday (#14 peak)

141 Dean Ray - New Sensation (X Factor Performance) (#58 peak)

Kicking things off in the singles countdown is a bunch of 10 which includes three X Factor Australia songs! Runner-up Dean Ray's single is beaten by his rock week performance and a finale performance from the winner Marlisa which saw her reprise her audition song and was later included on her album - Marlisa has a couple more entries to come. Also dropping out are two French songs (the same amount as there are still to be revealed) from Indila and Nouvelle Star (France's answer to Idol) winner Yseult. More recognisable artists such as Beyoncé and OneRepublic also fall at the first hurdle, but the former still has entries to come.

I don't actually own '1989' but aside from Christmas music and 1D, it's ALWAYS on at work! 'Style', 'Out of the Woods', 'All You Had to Do Was Stay', 'Wildest Dreams' and 'How You Get the Girl' are all very very good, colour me surprised!

You need to own it :smoke: It's one of those albums where literally everything is a viable single really

140 5 Seconds Of Summer - She Looks So Perfect (#41 peak)

139 András Kállay-Saunders - Running (#19 peak)

138 Cheryl ft. Tinie Tempah - Crazy Stupid Love (#3 peak)

137 Sarah Paulson - Criminal (#7 peak)

136 Lady Antebellum - Bartender (#18 peak)

135 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud (#37 peak)

134 Pitbull ft. Ke$ha - Timber (#7 peak)

133 Twin Twin - Moustache (#17 peak)

132 Dami Im - Gladiator (#13 peak)

131 Reigan - Boys In Town (X Factor Performance) (#9 peak)

A few top 10 hits crash out in this section, including the first of many Reigan Derry entries with another X Factor Australia rock week performance (a Divinyls cover) and the comeback single from Cheryl. Also present is are two of Reigan's fellow Aussies; pop band 5 Seconds Of Summer and another X Factor Australia alumni in the form of 2013 winner Dami Im. There is also one of the biggest hits of the year from Ed Sheeran as well as trashy UK #1 from Pitbull and the third French song and first Eurovision song so far from Twin Twin with the absolutely bonkers Moustache.

I love crazy stupid love, such a great lead single after that disaster lead single from the last era (which is somewhat adored :drama:) Timber is also great because of Kesha and the overplay has pretty much killed thinking out loud for me
Bartender is Lady A's best in a long while

if i go really should've been huge and comeback too. really hope the public begin to her buy her music more because i'd really like her to be successful. she has one of the most wonderful voices, her album is going to be excellent surely.

annd yay at 7/11 being here too, i knew it'd grow on you more and more. such a jam and you can't help but bop to it really !

Call My Name is epic, her second best single :(

Bartender is Lady A's best in a long while

It's definitely my favourite since Need You Now (which is obviously by FAR their best)! Aside from just A Kiss, nothing from the past two eras really hit me too much :(

She should be huge I agree, I hope it does hope :(

It's a mess in some ways, but luckily a hot one :P

130 Ella Eyre - Comeback (#19 peak)

129 Beyoncé ft, Jay-Z - Drunk In Love (#10 peak)

128 Christina Perri - Burning Gold (#12 peak)

127 Ruth Lorenzo - Dancing In The Rain (#11 peak)

126 Nicki Minaj - Pills N Potions (#6 peak)

125 Cher Lloyd - Sirens (#18 peak)

124 Jessie Ware - Say You Love Me (#19 peak)

123 Shakira - Empire (#4 peak)

122 Emma - La mia città (#5 peak)

121 Lauren Platt - Happy(X Factor Performance) (#11 peak)

In this section, we lose two more Eurovision 2014 songs - Spain's Ruth Lorenzo and Italy's Emma. Additionally, Beyoncé's second entry with possibly her most overrated song is present as well as a 90s rock channeling single from Shakira and the first of three X Factor UK performances in this chart, this one being in the form of Lauren Platt's #1s week cover of Pharrell's Happy, which actually makes that song bearable. Four more of my top 10 hits crash out too, in favour of some songs that didn't even make the top 20 above them.

Amazing section Liam

Comeback is amaZing and it so deserved to be a massive hit

Sirens is so beautiful and I am still gutted about the 41 peak :(

Happy was such a stunning x-factor performance, definitely my favourite performance this year

Drunk in love, burning gold, pills n potions, say you love me and empire are all also great

drunk in love is excellent, really glad she at least got one smash from this era but really she should've had loads more bceause the album is fantasic.

pills n potions is lovely too, it was the perfect comeback from her and so chilled out that I loved it, definitely replayed it too much though so ended up a bit sick of it. love it now.

Ella had better make it somehow :(

It's a shame she never really had big UK success, Swagger Jagger was obviously a #1 but it didn't sell that well!

It was her second best behind What A Feeling for me (still to come), Fleur's Uptown Funk slayed anything else this year though.

Partition, Pretty Hurts and especially XO should have been massive :(

It's a bit subtle to be one of my faves I think, but I do like it of course!
