Crank is a 2006 action/thriller film, written and directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. The Lions Gate Films produced film stars Jason Statham, Amy Smart, Efren Ramirez, and Dwight Yoakam and will debut on September 1, 2006. The film will be rated 'R' for strong violence, pervasive language, sexuality, nudity, and drug use.

i thought it was good dumbass fun, with some good stupid laughs (however not in the SoAP leage of stoopidity :lol: :lol:)

 

for most of the film its about a 3/5 but earn an extra star for the ending.

 

its a pity that this film wasnt a HK action film from the early 1990s as it would probably be the greatest most demented Kung Fu/gunplay movie ever.

 

Hope they do a crank 2. maybe shift the attention to Asia and have someone like Tony Jaa signed up for a dose of the chinese poison?

OOH I really wanna see this mainly because it sounds good and has my fave actress of the moment, Amy Smart in it :wub:

I saw it - 3 stars. It's OK. All the pop arty stuff got a bit annoying though.

I just saw it the other day and I would give perhaps 4 stars because of the plot of the movie (is not boring at any time), you laugh and are glued to your chair....ideal film for evenings you don't know what to do...
