COMMENTARY: Starting off my countdown at 5 is JME. Although all his three hits this year were features, I prefer him to any of the lead artists. He does seem to be the man to go to if you want a grime top 40 hit nowadays.

COMMENTARY: Number 4 this year is Busta Rhymes. Busta is certainly not someone I would have predicted to have 2 number ones in my chart at the start of the year, but Thank You was an early contender for my song of the year. After hearing it I revisited We Made It which has a new lease of life in my chart.

COMMENTARY: Last year's number 2, Iggy Azalea. Another great year for someone who's quickly becoming one of my all time favourites. She's certainly overtook Macklemore as my favourite breakout artists of 2013.

COMMENTARY: And my winner is of course Ariana Grande. With every single song (apart from the intro) from the album charting there was only one winner.
