December 11, 201410 yr I like to think Amy could get a second Globe, but I dunno. Nice to see Jennifer Aniston there, I've been a fan of her ability as an actress for ages, but I think Reese will beat her. Julianne slaying them all, double noms :o
December 11, 201410 yr Author Really hope Amy gets her 2nd Golden Globe win and Lana wins for best song with the stunning big eyes
December 12, 201410 yr Urgh. Amy Adams every year. Go away. Lolz if she has her 6th Nomination without the prize this year though. Her best performance in the past 4 years is in 'Her' and she didn't even get nominated for it. What a mess of a flop :P I'm here for Jessica Chastain who is the superior of the gingers. So Glad The Normal Heart got some nominations too

December 13, 201410 yr Oh my gosh..I have watched so many movies in the cinema this year and only five of them were nominated..(Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Gone Girl, Ida, Interstellar and Noah). I guess that studios release their best films in the end of the year..I couldn't help but wonder why "Ida" was nominated for "Best Foreign Language Film..It was boring as hell. What happened to them??? Seriously
December 16, 201410 yr It'd be fitting for Richard Linklater to win Best Director for Boyhood - even if just to mark the success of such an ambitious and risky project. Also reckon Eddie Redmayne will pick up the Best Actor...not that I've seen it yet, but the trailer looks Oscar-worthy!
December 28, 201410 yr I like to think Amy could get a second Globe, but I dunno. Nice to see Jennifer Aniston there, I've been a fan of her ability as an actress for ages, but I think Reese will beat her. Julianne slaying them all, double noms :o No way Reese Witherspoon will win. Julianne Moore is pretty sure to win that category. It's really a travesty Marion Cottillard wasn't nominated, as she has been the critics' favourite all year and she would be the only one to challenge Julianne Moore.

January 12, 201510 yr Very excited that Julianne Moore has won her first movie Globe. Hopefully this means she can finally snatch that Academy Award. She has an amazing body of work, and has been snubbed too many times. Amazing for Matt Bomer. His performance in Normal Heart was one of the best performances I've seen in a decade. His speech was great too. 'To the generation of people we lost and continue to lose to this disease - we love you and we remember you' - so eloquent. Edited January 12, 201510 yr by Joe.
January 12, 201510 yr Julianne has been a lock for the Oscar for some time now, there would have to be some kind of cataclysm for her not to win. Eddie also seems very likely to win there too, and Patricia and J.K would probably be the one I'd put money on winning too. Boyhood will win best picture too. The musical/comedy ones surprised me a little, expected Into The Woods to win. TV wise I am VERY surprised, not least at Joanne Froggat. Pleased for The Affair, ratings wise it was a disaster, but I'm really happy for Ruth Wilson and her amazing lips. Same for Jeffrey Tambor and Transparent, both hugely deserved.
January 12, 201510 yr Very happy for Boyhood, Patricia and Eddie (who I was surprised to learn is 33, not looking bad for that age ^_^) and would love if those were all repeated come Oscar time. How To Train Your Dragon 2 wouldn't have been my first preference in the animation category, I was quite disappointed after loving the first movie. Though I don't love The Lego Movie as much as I did just after seeing it, just can't get over that ending.. Jane The Virgin now a Golden Globe winning TV series!!!

He's 33 not 73, Jesus  you make it sound like he's collecting his pension.
January 12, 201510 yr The first ever for The CW no less. HTTYD2 was pretty poor after a brilliant first one, any of the other nominees would have been better winners. Big Hero 6 is amazing though and would definitely be my choice.
January 12, 201510 yr He's 33 not 73, Jesus  you make it sound like he's collecting his pension. Still older than my usual type. I thought he was mid to late 20s. HTTYD2 was pretty poor after a brilliant first one, any of the other nominees would have been better winners. Big Hero 6 is amazing though and would definitely be my choice. I'm so excited to watch Big Hero 6, the trailer makes it look brilliant.
January 12, 201510 yr It has so much heart, honestly I don't think Disney could have done anything better post Frozen. It's totally different, yet retains the modernity of recent Disney fare. Indeed their last 3 animated films are all in my Disney top 5 which says a lot I think. Baymax is also potentially the cutest Disney character this millennium.
