Excellent, that's that nonsense over with, now we can go back to the important task of supporting Sunstroke Project. *.*

Eduard from Ukraine won the televote with nearly 3000 votes (closest contender had less than 1000 I think), so that's worrying considering the song was very average. Hopefully the jury will ensure it doesn't win.
Heartbroken for Kitty. She had such passion and I prefer "Remix" to everything that I've heard from this contest so far.

If you want to catch up on Kitty's performance then you can do so by watching the first semi-final here and skipping to 26:35 minutes in. You may need to give it a few minutes to load before you can skip to that point! Her green room interview then follows at 39:00 minutes in!

Voting
The voting will consist of 50% jury vote and 50% televote. If there is a tie, the song which achieved more points from the jury vote will decide the ultimate winner.

Who are the favourites?
There doesn't seem to be any odds, but Eduard Romanyuta got by far the highest televotes of anybody in the semi-finals, perhaps due to the fact he is Ukrainian, and therefore goes into the final as a favourite. It remains to be seen whether the jury will support Eduard as much in the final.

Lidia who is performing 10th is also apparently part of the Glam Girls (performing 11th) and a backing singer for Sunstroke Project (performing 12th)! Going to be a busy 10 minutes or so for her!

I absolutely love Sunstroke Project's song, but Eduard has this wrapped up unless the jury mark him down a lot more than they did in the semi-final.

Standing for Miss M here, shame about the shitty draw :(

Europe has been losing the plot tonight a little bit bar Slovenia, instead of the juries marking Eduard down they've decided to give him the jury 10 points. Bonkers!

Eduard wins, oh dear Moldova!

I like Eduard's song :( Didn't listen to the others (just heard that one because of the hype and Kitty b/c it's Kitty) though.

It's no O Mie or Wild Soul but it's solid.

To be fair I haven't actually heard the studio version, maybe it's better than it was live!

This doesn't sound too bad in studio version actually, but it sounds a little bit dated still and it's nowhere near the incredible Sunstroke Project.

Oh Moldova :( I guess the run of fantastic entries had to come to an end sooner or later. This isn't great at all.

Drama in Moldova!

My sources in Chișinău (yes, seriously) tell me that all is not well with Moldova's #eurovision result. Watch this space.

Also, there are tweets explaining that the aftershow that is ongoing now has turned into "a shouting match of corruption claims".

And earlier today there was a tweet I saw that said that in the first semi-final, Eduard was in the green room with 200 SIM cards voting for himself while everyone else performed. Sounds farfetched but could it be true?

lmao

I don't mind this in a sleazy sort of way. Kinda got worse as it went along though. Kitty was absolutely robbed.

Pasha Parfeny has posted on Facebook (translated into English):

RIP EUROVISION MOLDOVA. It doesn’t matter that he is Ukrainian, what matters is that he is corrupt.

It is so obvious that almost everything was bought. Too bad… I feel ashamed.

And Wiwibloggs are reporting the following:

All the other 15 acts boycotted the aftershow when Eduard Romanyuta won. SunStroke Project stormed out of the Green Room in disgust. During the aftershow, the judges and members of the press discussed whether it was right to open the door to foreigners, and agreed that, after 10 national selection editions of sending Moldovan artists, it was time to try sending someone from abroad. The political aspect of having an Ukrainian singer represent Moldova was also hotly debated.

The song Pasha composed ('Maricica') came 2nd in the televote and therefore would've won the televote if Eduard hadn't taken part (although still wouldn't have won overall), so it's even more understandable why Pasha is annoyed if this corruption is true - and it probably is as there were reports this was happening after the first semi-final also.

Oh and on top of that, 'I Want Your Love' is suffering from plagiarism claims due to similarities with this song:
