January 11, 201510 yr hoorah for Gazelle! still very much looking forward to the rest of this list so keep em coming klum~
January 12, 201510 yr Author 6ZOI1yUGPBQ #160 - DJ Snake feat. Lil Jon - Turn Down For What #159 - Austin Mahone feat. Pitbull - Mmm Yeah! #158 - Karen Harding - Say Something #157 - Kristen Bell et al. - Do You Want To Build A Snowman? #156 - Paolo Nutini - Scream (Funk Your Life Up) #155 - Halsey - New Americana #154 - Public Service Broadcasting - Spitfire #153 - Tielsie - Palette #152 - Tinashe feat. ScHoolBoyQ - 2 On #151 - Ella Henderson - Ghost A trashy mess when sober, a banging tune when intoxicated - it's the very marmite Turn Down For What! I love the fact that all it's breakdowns are different (similar to another song yet to appear) which makes it exciting yet still memorable! Also what's not to love about a Lil Jon feature? From one lovable feature to another, it's Pitbull's 2nd appearance out of three on the cheesy Austin Mahone's Mmm Yeah. Bloody catchy and just good ol' trashy pop. Here comes the big turnaround of the year with 'Say Something', whilst I do still retain that this wouldn't have been the best BJSC winner, it does now feature higher than the eventual winner Michael Woods at #192. Maybe cause I'm so mainstream that this is finally growing on me now it's on the brink of being a UK hit? Sorry Dandylion*. Two more BJSC supplied by Florina and FSR Rontvia, both New Americana and Spitfire were fairly instant and had no doubt about making my top 200 this year. Just a shame that Spitfire didn't do any better in BJSC despite it's left-of-field nature. On to a couple of 'T's now, Tielsie and Tinashe! Tielsie provided Cadelicia with their first points from the Kluminican Republic in the form of a 12! (and only points still I think? :o) Big, brash and bold. I loved it from the first listen. It's paled slightly in comparison to some of the other PC music hits unfortunately. Tinashe's 2 On made a miniature U-turn on me, I never disliked it but was kinda put of by all the hype it was receiving from all across the forum. It's still not the best thing since sliced bread but it's a shame it didn't become a hit as with the right push I'm sure it could've made the top 5! Wrapping up with three iconic songs of the year. First up is the original funk of 2014. Paolo Nutini's Scream (Funk Your Life Up) sadly did not last long in the UK charts but it does win the award for coolest song of 2014 B-) I'm sure he's happy enough anyway with one of the top 10 selling albums of the year! Next up is probably the poppest pop song ever to exist. Ella Henderson's Ghost was just destined to be big and did just that finish #6 in the UK EOY charts, overplay killed it slightly but it'll remain a classic for years to come. Speaking of classics, the final song in this section is Kristen Bell and mini-me's Do You Want To Build A Snowman? As a Frozen fanatic this couldn't miss out on a EOY chart placing yet it feels old to rank this amongst the 'normal' songs that have hit the charts. Both joyful and sad within the space of 3 minutes, just the song itself tells a story. One for those who are too weak to withstand Idina's ikonec shrieks  Please enjoy the linked video complete with Vietnamese subtitles!
January 12, 201510 yr Tielsie provided Cadelicia with their first points from the Kluminican Republic in the form of a 12! (and only points still I think? :o) You've also given me 1 point for "I Feel Rave" and 2 points for "Ghosts". ^_^ (15 points in total!!) Edited January 12, 201510 yr by Gage
January 12, 201510 yr 'Frozen' is absolutely adorable and *sickly-sentimental teacher comment incoming* seeing how much it meant to the children just before Christmas has made me love it even more   i'm glad it has gotten a whole new generation into Disney (whilst also remaining magical for previous ones). '2 On' yay :funky: 2 Low though. Austin/Halsey woop. Edit: it says "You are currently receiving email notification of replies" don't get too excited, i can assure you i did not consciously sign up to get notified about posts in here and now i'm not sure how to turn it off... oh.
January 12, 201510 yr Author You've also given me 1 point for "I Feel Rave" and 2 points for "Ghosts". ^_^ (15 points in total!!) That's good to hear I don't feel so guilty anymore! Still the voting ratios probably aren't too fair on you :( 'Frozen' is absolutely adorable and *sickly-sentimental teacher comment incoming* seeing how much it meant to the children just before Christmas has made me love it even more   i'm glad it has gotten a whole new generation into Disney (whilst also remaining magical for previous ones). Frozen is incredible and those say otherwise haven't watched it once! (or five times in my case ) Might as well leave it seeing as this the EVENT OF THE YEAR!!!
January 12, 201510 yr Ooh hai :hi: Nice to see 2 on made a u turn! I have to admit, I only started to like Tinashe after hearing her on Body language but it's a great fun song!

Matthew Koma - Cheap Sunglasses Here features two more Trifoski entries, first and last place in Eurovision 2014 and two UK #1s, despite the latter being far inferior to the incredible 'Oops' :P
January 19, 201510 yr Ooooh I see Foxes! Beauty Queen is a great bonus track, I'm not quite sure why it didn't make the actual tracklist :nocheer: Amazing to see this in your top 150 though ^_^
January 19, 201510 yr Author fqDgXyll9JI #140 - Lana Del Rey - Old Money #139 - Kristen Bell & Idina Menzel - For The First Time In Forever #138 - Clean Bandit feat. Justin Timberlake - Love Never Felt So Good #132 - Max Richter - Spring 1 (Ade Laugee Remix) #131 - Invader Girl - Starting Fires (MS MR Remix) Again this section is finished off with a flop Kluminican Republic entry! Here comes the set of songs that really are deserving of the top 100 yet the competition is so high this year!
January 19, 201510 yr Author Ooooh I see Foxes! Beauty Queen is a great bonus track, I'm not quite sure why it didn't make the actual tracklist :nocheer: Amazing to see this in your top 150 though ^_^ Beauty Queen by far the best Foxes ballad! Plus I got to see her perform it live in March which is why it's become one of my fave tracks from her!
January 19, 201510 yr TWO D'yermak'er entries yay :cheer: 'Jasmine' is an all time fave of what i've sent for me but R.A.B.B.I.I. wouldn't rank v highly i don't think (as much as i still enjoy it). But enough about me~ MJ, London Grammar and especially Kitty Pryde  the 'Frostbite' EP is so fun :music:
January 19, 201510 yr Author 3j6IJS-SCYQ #130 - Molly - Children of the Universe #129 - ANTHEMS - Up In Mine #128 - ZHU - Paradise Awaits #127 - HAIM - If I Could Change Your Mind #126 - George Ezra - Budapest #125 - Childish Gambino - 3005 #124 - ODESZA feat. Zyra - Say My Name #123 - alt-J - Every Other Freckle #122 - Hozier - Take Me To Church #121 - Yelle - Bouquet Final Very cool very fresh section here, feels a bit weird including Hozier in the 2014 countdown when it's now become a 2015 hit! I wonder if any of the rest will become hits in 2015?! (not you Budapest)
January 24, 201510 yr (o )(o ) That ANTHEMS song is sounding nice, i am checking out the ones i don't know! Alt-J were v lovely again this era and 'Take Me Church' finally hit me a few weeks ago. V mainstream popularity making it sound good~ 3005 <3 forever hoping it gets just one more re-release and explodes but should probably give up on that now lol f*** these other niggas i'll be right by your side~ :music: B-)
January 24, 201510 yr I'd forgotten you'd liked Paradise Awaits actually so I wasn't really expecting to see any of my entries here! Excellent though (he should just get over it and make it a future hit already). Say My Name and Take Me To Church are also cool.
January 27, 201510 yr Hey hey heeeey, I'm all caught up and your music taste is amazing! From that last section, '3005' and 'Every Other Freckle' are IMMENSE.
January 27, 201510 yr Author d2my_DFCdpE #120 - Tove Lo - Not On Drugs #119 - Vanic x machineheart - Circles #118 - Katy Perry - This Is How We Do #117 - Ariana Grande feat. The Weeknd - Love Me Harder #116 - Katy Perry feat. Juicy J - Dark Horse #115 - Phoria - Emanate #114 - Lushington - Settle Down #113 - Christophe Beck feat. Cantus - Vuelie #112 - $waggot - GAY 4 IT #111 - Tchami - Untrue One of Katy Perry's most instant songs and her biggest grower feature here! A number of tracks that could be big hits if given the right push also feature, as well as floppy Ariana Grande :( A questionable entry from $waggot and a fantastic atmospheric soundtracktrack from Frozen too! Also give Emanate a listen or 10 as it became one of my biggest growers this year! Sorry Skall for the lack of pointage in BJSC!
January 27, 201510 yr Author d2my_DFCdpE #110 - Odysseus feat. Ruby Goe - Used To Be My Friend #109 - Blawan - Getting Me Down #108 - Bombay Bicycle Club - Feel #107 - Vic Mensa - Down On My Luck #106 - Valentina Monetta - Maybe #105 - Sam Smith - Money On My Mind #104 - Nicki Minaj - Anaconda #103 - Foxes - Let Go For Tonight #102 - Sia feat. Diplo & The Weeknd - Elastic Heart #101 - Shakira feat. Rihanna - Can't Remember To Forget You Gutted that all of these have just missed the top 100! I still stand by the fact that MOMM is Sam Smith's best solo song, he was still showing potential to be something other than the male Adele at that point (his features are still top notch though!) A couple of hypnotic BJSC songs stand side by side with Odysseus and Blawan being supplied surprisingly by Unovia(!) and somewhat less surprisingly Trifoski, both did nowhere near as well as they deserved! BBC and Vic Mensa bring the cool vibes whilst Valentina, Foxes and Nicki pop it out (what a collab that would be :o). Final two entries to miss the top 100 feature a host of big names. Shakanna were always going to suffer from the expectation of the collab but I still think it's a proper jam with one of the best middle 8's of the year! Sia's Elastic Heart probably should be in the 2015 countdown too where it will hopefully make the top 100! Such a shame it's stalling just outside the top 10 in the UK charts :(
