Posted December 23, 201410 yr 50. Maroon 5 - Animals http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/38/Maroon_5_-_Animals_Single_Cover.png/220px-Maroon_5_-_Animals_Single_Cover.png Whilst not as good as "Maps", it was another catchy song from Maroon 5 and the video was fantastic. 49. Charlie XCX - Break the Rules http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/82/Charli_XCX_-_Break_the_Rules.jpg/220px-Charli_XCX_-_Break_the_Rules.jpg Why did this flop again?!? So much better than "Boom Clap". 48. Olly Murs - Up (feat. Demi Lovato) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/a7/Olly_Murs_-_Up_(feat._Demi_Lovato)_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Olly_Murs_-_Up_(feat._Demi_Lovato)_(Official_Single_Cover).png Does this even count for 2014? I don't even know, but a great song, helped by Demi of course. Any other girl on this track, and it probably won't be in this chart. B-) 47. Shift K3Y - I Know http://coversr.mp3va.com/220/13/46/444613.jpg I'm still kind of annoyed this didn't go top 10. 46. Nick Jonas - Chains http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/17/Nick_Jonas_-_Chains_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Nick_Jonas_-_Chains_(Official_Single_Cover).png That breakdown after the chorus. 45. Rixton - Wait on Me http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/f1/WaitOnMeSingle2014.jpg/220px-WaitOnMeSingle2014.jpg Just so much better than their debut. 44. Becky G - Can't Stop Dancin' http://a3.mzstatic.com/us/r30/Music5/v4/af/b5/6b/afb56bd2-b47b-1a30-9e77-1c9c7ef3ff68/cover220x220.jpeg I'm just as shocked as all of you that the annoying rapping girl from Cher Lloyd's "Oath" is releasing good songs. Not only did she release "Shower" (which was very close to making this list) but she also released this fabulous pop song. 43. Ella Henderson - Glow http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/82/Ella_Henderson_-_Glow_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Ella_Henderson_-_Glow_(Official_Single_Cover).png It's no "Ghost" but it's a good song which is very underrated (at least in the charts), IMO. 42. Fergie - L.A.LOVE (la la) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/9a/LA_Love_cover.png/220px-LA_Love_cover.png Fergie's rapping skills >> anyone else's. So catchy, I love it. 41. Maroon 5 - Maps http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/37/Maps_album_artwork.jpg/220px-Maps_album_artwork.jpg FOLLOWING, FOLLOWING, FOLLOWING. Adam's voice and that chorus are just magical. 40. Neon Jungle - Louder http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/b3/Neon_Jungle_-_Louder_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Neon_Jungle_-_Louder_(Official_Single_Cover).png Whilst their album is up there with probably one of the most basic albums I've ever listened to, this song is great and their voices sound beautiful on it. 39. Lea Michele - On My Way http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/aa/On_My_Way_(Lea_Michele_song).jpeg/220px-On_My_Way_(Lea_Michele_song).jpeg I like to forget that "Cannonball" ever happened because it was just such a mess and I can't actually believe that it was more successful than this extremely catchy song. The video is also one of my favs, she looks stunning in it. 38. Cheryl Cole - I Don't Care http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e1/Cheryl_-_I_Don't_Care_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Cheryl_-_I_Don't_Care_(Official_Single_Cover).png The amount of sass in the song, the video, her XF performance just gave me life tbh. 37. Iggy Azalea - Black Widow (feat. Rita Ora) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/ba/Iggy-Black-Widow-Cover.jpeg/220px-Iggy-Black-Widow-Cover.jpeg Whilst her album is full of much better songs, this was still a good choice. The radio edit with Rita's ad libs tho > the original. 36. Avril Lavigne - Hello Kitty http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/ab/Avril_Lavigne_-_Hello_Kitty_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Avril_Lavigne_-_Hello_Kitty_(Official_Single_Cover).png The amount of negativity this song had just made me love it even more. I really don't see what's that bad about it? 35. Katy Perry - Dark Horse (feat. Juicy J) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e8/DarkHorseCover.png/220px-DarkHorseCover.png I still feel like Juicy J wasn't needed for this. Still, it's a great track. 34. Ariana Grande & The Weeknd - Love Me Harder http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/6f/Ariana_Grande_-_Love_Me_Harder_(Official_Single_Cover).jpg/220px-Ariana_Grande_-_Love_Me_Harder_(Official_Single_Cover).jpg Probably one of the best collaborations. Ever. 33. Bebe Rexha - I Can't Stop Drinking About You http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/9b/BebeRexhaItunesCover.png/220px-BebeRexhaItunesCover.png When is this girl going to have some solo success?! This is good. Very good. And her voice. 32. Hobbie Stuart - Still Here (feat. Ghetts) http://a2.mzstatic.com/eu/r30/Music4/v4/26/0b/ea/260beaba-ad41-a701-8445-f30267724d38/cover220x220.jpeg Such an underrated song, and artist. If you don't know who he is, I would highly suggest you check out his videos on YouTube. 31. Duke Dumont - I Got U (feat. Jax Jones) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d6/Duke_dumont_feat_jax_jones-i_got_u_s.jpg/220px-Duke_dumont_feat_jax_jones-i_got_u_s.jpg This is literally the perfect summer song. The chorus is wonderful. 30. The Vamps - Somebody to You (feat. Demi Lovato) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/7a/Somebody-to-You-Vamps-featuring-Demi-Lovato.jpg/220px-Somebody-to-You-Vamps-featuring-Demi-Lovato.jpg The song is good. Then they added Demi and it became amazing. 29. Nicole Scherzinger - Your Love http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/5d/Nicole_Scherzinger_Your_Love_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Nicole_Scherzinger_Your_Love_(Official_Single_Cover).png The only song poor Nicole has had success with this year. It's catchy as hell and has a good beat. 28. Shakira - Can't Remember to Forget You (feat. Rihanna) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/c/c2/CantRememberToForgetYouCover.png/220px-CantRememberToForgetYouCover.png Critics call the song "unforgettable" and I have to disagree. It's probably my favorite Shakira song. 27. Fifth Harmony - Sledgehammer http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/3f/Fifth_harmony_sledgehammer_cover.jpg/220px-Fifth_harmony_sledgehammer_cover.jpg So infectious. So good. This needs to become a hit for them. It's far too good to only peak at #93 on the Hot 100. 26. Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What it Wants http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/90/The_Heart_Wants_What_It_Wants_Selena_Gomez_cover.jpg/220px-The_Heart_Wants_What_It_Wants_Selena_Gomez_cover.jpg I really didn't think Selena could top "Come and Get It" but this is slowly taking over. It's such a beautiful song and the video is great too. 25. Jennifer Lopez - I Luh Ya Papi (feat. French Montana) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/69/I_Luh_Ya_Papi.png/220px-I_Luh_Ya_Papi.png I remember when this first came out, and I thought, what on earth is this mess?! Then the video came out, and as always, she looked amazing, the choreography was great and I was hooked after that. 24. Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/35/Rita_Ora_-_I_Will_Never_Let_You_Down_.png/220px-Rita_Ora_-_I_Will_Never_Let_You_Down_.png Despite being the only song she released this year, it was a very good one. By far her best single. It's a shame all the Calvin tracks have been shelved from the album. 23. Neon Hitch - Some Like it Hot (feat. Kinetics) http://i62.tinypic.com/i6mg6f.png I've loved this girl ever since she was featured on "Ass Back Home" and then she released a mixtape this year with his great track. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend listening to it. 22. Ella Henderson - Ghost http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/ee/Ella_Henderson_-_Ghost_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Ella_Henderson_-_Ghost_(Official_Single_Cover).png Ryan Tedder did good, real good. That chorus and her voice, amazing. 21. The Vamps - Wild Heart http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/7/79/The_Vamps_Wild_Heart.jpg/220px-The_Vamps_Wild_Heart.jpg The Vamps surprised me a lot this year. Much prefer them to 1D and all the other boybands. Love, love, love this song. 20. Pixie Lott - Lay Me Down http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/15/Pixie_Lott_-_Lay_Me_Down.png/220px-Pixie_Lott_-_Lay_Me_Down.png #114?!? #114?!? Ugh, I have no words. <_< 19. Tove Lo - Habits (Stay High) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/bb/Tove_Lo_Habits.png/220px-Tove_Lo_Habits.png I'm actually annoyed at the British public for getting the remix to be a huge success, but not the original, which is on a completely different league. I seriously hope Tove Lo doesn't become a one hit wonder (solo wise). 18. Ariana Grande - Problem (feat. Iggy Azalea) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/67/Ariana_Grande_-_Problem_(Official_single_cover).jpg/220px-Ariana_Grande_-_Problem_(Official_single_cover).jpg Iggy's rap > the rest of the song. Having said that, it's still a fabulous track, just wish the video wasn't so awkward and all over the place. 17. Neon Jungle - Braveheart http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/aa/Neon_Jungle_Braveheart.jpg/220px-Neon_Jungle_Braveheart.jpg The breakdown slays at life, tbh. 16. Jennifer Lopez - First Love http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/30/JLo_-_First_Love.png/220px-JLo_-_First_Love.png THE CHORUS IS JUST EVERYTHING. UGH WHY DID THIS FLOP? 15. Cheryl Cole - Crazy Stupid Love (feat. Tinie Tempah) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/f/ff/Cheryl_Cole_-_Crazy_Stupid_Love_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Cheryl_Cole_-_Crazy_Stupid_Love_(Official_Single_Cover).png The video saved this song and made me fall in love with it. Before the video came out, it was just okay. But that video and those moves Cheryl was working made me absolutely love it. 14. Pitbull - Wild Wild Love (feat. GRL) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/1/1d/Wild_Wild_Love_(feat._G.R.L.)_-_Single.jpg/220px-Wild_Wild_Love_(feat._G.R.L.)_-_Single.jpg Does Pitbull know that people only listen to this because of GRL? 13. Pixie Lott - Nasty http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/59/PixieLottNastyartwork.png/220px-PixieLottNastyartwork.png Unlike the rest of this forum, I actually loved this song. Yes, it's no "Mama Do" or "All About Tonight", but I think it's such a fun, catchy song. And she looked stunning in the video. 12. Demi Lovato - Really Don't Care (feat. Cher Lloyd) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/6/63/Demi_Lovato_Really_Don't_Care_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Demi_Lovato_Really_Don't_Care_(Official_Single_Cover).png So catchy. Pop songs at its best. 11. Hilary Duff - All About You http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/2/22/Hilary_Duff_-_All_About_You.png/220px-Hilary_Duff_-_All_About_You.png Why this hasn't taken off and become a huge success worldwide is beyond me. It's seriously so good and I'm worried we're not going to get the album for another 3 years. 10. Cher Lloyd - Sirens http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/8/8d/Cher_Lloyd_Sirens_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Cher_Lloyd_Sirens_(Official_Single_Cover).png Beautiful song. You can really hear Cher's emotion in it too. She needs to like re-release it something. It doesn't deserve to flop. 9. GRL - Ugly Heart http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/a7/Ugly_Heart.jpg/220px-Ugly_Heart.jpg I'm still not over this not going top 10. Fantastic song. RIP Simone. :( 8. Pitbull - Timber (feat. Ke$ha) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/a/a9/Pitbull_featuring_Kesha_-_Timber.jpg/220px-Pitbull_featuring_Kesha_-_Timber.jpg Does Pitbull know that people only listen to this because of Ke$ha? 7. Little Mix - Salute http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/52/Little_Mix_-_Salute.jpg/220px-Little_Mix_-_Salute.jpg The video just SLAYS at life. It's so good, and the song is incredible too. So energetic. 6. Tulisa - Living Without You http://a1.mzstatic.com/eu/r30/Music3/v4/0d/23/f0/0d23f08f-a7ff-afaf-104d-7bfe50e3a5df/cover220x220.jpeg Yes this is not out until January, but whatever. I love everything about this. Why is it getting no airplay?!? I'm not ready for it to flop. 5. Miley Cyrus - Adore You http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/5/50/Miley_Cyrus_-_Adore_You_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Miley_Cyrus_-_Adore_You_(Official_Single_Cover).png Whilst she had many other better songs on the album, this song is still beautiful. I am so ready to Miley to slay again with her next album. 4. Nick Jonas - Jealous http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/d/d0/Nick_Jonas_-_Jealous_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Nick_Jonas_-_Jealous_(Official_Single_Cover).png This song is just everything right now. The Tinashe remix is even better. Very impressed with Nick Jonas this year (and not just in the music department). :kink: 3. Iggy Azalea - Fancy (feat. Charlie XCX) http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/9/94/Iggy_Azalea_-_Fancy.png/220px-Iggy_Azalea_-_Fancy.png Iggy pretty much slayed this year, all thanks to this song. I remember hearing it for the first time and thinking how awful it was, but boy was I wrong. 2. Fifth Harmony - BO$$ http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e3/Fifth_Harmony_Boss_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-Fifth_Harmony_Boss_(Official_Single_Cover).png This song is just flawless. Streaming can go into a little hole and die because this song would have made top 10 if the chart was just based on sales. #21 is too low for this song. 1. The Saturdays - Not Giving Up http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/3/38/The_Saturdays_-_Not_Giving_Up_(Official_Single_Cover).png/220px-The_Saturdays_-_Not_Giving_Up_(Official_Single_Cover).png Yes, the song is generic, but it's a generic piece of amazingness. One of the stand out tracks from the album and when they announced it as a single, I was very happy. The cheap video doesn't even bother me, the song is just that good. Frankie's bridge slays. The chorus is fantastic. Why this song didn't go top 10, top 5 or even #1, I don't know.

December 23, 201410 yr Really? Wikipedia says it would have been #10 just based on sales? You might be glad to know wiki is wrong, it was #11. It looks the link on wiki leads to the download chart without physical cd sales so that chart does not have band aid 30 above boss but in actual fact band aid was 3rd and boss was 11th Hope this helps :)
