I am a fan of TV Burp and Harry Hill's 'wacky' sense of humour, however, I thought this was terrible and it was all down to a poor choice of host. His style of comedy doesn't suit the format at ALL. It was cringe-worthy throughout and wasn't made any better by some rather poor performances from the public. However, put a better host in there and remove the forced comedy elements, and you've got a goer. If only someone had already thought of that (hello Matthew Kelly.)

I just don't think a show like this works in this day and age anymore. But the attempt to turn into into TV Burp 2.0 made it even worse!

i disagree, entirely

okay.. i admit i was wrong about the new series of stars in their eyes. i thought it wouldn't be any good, but... i like it. it's not bad.

plus i quite liked the person who went through last night (thank god it wasn't the girl doing tina turner!). even if it was the best tina turner inpression ever (which it honestly wasn't), i still wouldn't want to put anyone who performs her music through.

i do agree that some commedy elements need to be removed.

i think the sceen in the first episode about adel's baby... that was pretty lame- i didn't like that. 1 thing i don't like about it- is the constant reminder.. the not live final in 5 weeks time (about 10 times during the show), okay harry, we know!. and do you really need to say " not live final?"

but i do like some of the commedy. some of it's funny

" oh, who could that be!". (enter the star guest)

Missed it last week but am currently watching the repeat of last night's show.

TRULY ATROCIOUS!

One of my favourite shows growing up but this return has tarnished it! :puke2:

I tuned into this for the first time last night because I wanted to make my own opinion on the show and see if it really was terrible. I turned off after seeing the titles and Harry Hill coming out dressed as a strange Tom Jones with two people dressed in oversized Harry Hill costumes. It was bizarre.

TV Burp was one of my favourite shows but towards the end, the silly parts were getting more prominence and, unfortunately it is these parts what Harry has based his post-Burp career on.

Very bizarre indeed to watch this. Again like April has said why try and turn this into TV Burp Pt II?

I feel sorry for the people taking part in this.

An awful revival this. Up there with Dick and Dom's 'Ask The Family'.

and the winner of stars in their eyes 2015...... (and i pause because they do that on shows anyway....)

frankey valley!

who is the person i would have chosen

most of those people didn't sound anything like the star they were meant to be

especially lady gaga. i bet they only sent her through because she could do an awsome dolphin impression and dolphins are cool

and john legend was out of tune

The Sun is reporting that, unsurprisingly, this has been axed.

However, Harry Hill has recently filmed a pilot for ITV called 'Harry Hill's Tea Time' which has been described as "TV Burp meets cookery" and would see Hill preparing a three-course meal with a celebrity guest.

bad news all round then

harry hill, for me, was the best stars in their eyes presenter (guess i'm just in to all that)

and harry hill doing a cookery show?

that sounds a fail on so many levels

and if it interferes with my chase, their's going to be a war.
