40. Cheerleader (OMI)

 

This Jamaican track was 67 in my 2013 Year End chart but recharted in 2014 and has been remixed to give OMI a number one in Sweden.

 

 

39. Ay vamos (J. Balvin)

 

Last year the Columbian reggaeton singer was 66 in my Year End chart with "Tranquila". This year J. Balvin ends up at 39 with this "Ay vamos" which to date has amassed more than 150 million youtube views being both a Latin American and European hit.

 

 

38. Ghost (Ella Henderson)

 

Ella Henderson only finished 6th in 2012 UK X Factor but gained a UK number one and big international hit with this track.

 

 

37. Make it rain (Ed Sheeran)

 

3rd track out of 4 on my Year End chart for Ed Sheeran. This blues track was featured on the US TV drama series "Sons of Anarchy" and is a cover of a song by Northern Ireland musician Foy Vance.

 

 

36. Addicted to your lover (Avicci)

 

Avicci had 3 tracks on my Top 100 of 2013 namely "Wake me up" at 5, "Hey Brother" at 27 and "You make me" at 59. The Swedish producer makes just one appearance on my 2014 Year End chart.

 

35. We are done (Madden Brothers)

 

Joel and Benji Madden were founding members of US rock group Good Charlotte and had an Australian number one with this track which also topped my chart for 2 weeks.

 

 

34. Only Jah knows (Popcaan)

 

Second track on my chart by Popcaan. "Only Jah knows" had one week at the top of my chart. He also featured on Melissa Steel's "Kisses for Breakfast" but that failed to make my chart.

 

 

33. Fancy (Iggy Azalea ft Charli XCX)

 

Not many rap songs have even entered my chart but this track by Australian born rapper Iggy Azalea got into my Top 3 and was a US number one in the year.

 

 

32. Leave your lover (Sam Smith)

 

It has been a sensational year for Sam Smith. His album "In the lonely hour" was a big hit and 3 tracks end up in my Year End chart, the first of which is "Leave your lover".

 

 

31. Geronimo (Sheppard)

 

Australian indie band Sheppard entered my chart in April when it was also number one in Australia. It went to have European success later in the year.

 

 

30. Gold (Gabriel Rios)

 

Puerto Rican born Belgian based singer Gabriel Rios was 58 in my 2013 Year End chart. It was remixed this year by Thomas Jack and got to number one in Norway. However it's the original that resurfaced in my chart.

 

 

29. The Chamber (Lenny Kravitz)

 

Lenny Kravitz's last entry in my chart was "I'll be waiting" in 2007. His comeback this year was through the 80's influenced track "The Chamber" which entered my chart in July and subsequently proved a European success

 

 

28. Don't wait (Mapei)

 

Swedish based singer Mapei only had modest commercial success with this track but was 14 weeks in my Top 20.

 

 

27. Maps (Maroon 5)

 

Only track on my chart rundown for 2014 but not the only track by frontman Adam Levene who has a solo song yet to come.

 

 

26. Dangerous (David Guetta ft Sam Martin)

 

French DJ David Guetta has amassed 21 Top 10 hits in france and 17 in the UK in his career to date. However "Dangerous" was only his 3rd entry on my chart following "Love don't let me go" in 2002 and again in 2006 as a remix and then in 2009 with "Sexy bitch".

 

 

25. Fire (Gavin DeGraw)

 

US singer songwriter Gavin De Graw has had 4 Top 40 US hits going back to 2004 but "Fire" was his first appearance on my chart. It was number one for 1 week.

 

 

24. Prototypical (Stine Bramsen)

 

Alphabeat singer Stine Bramson got to number 1 for 1 week on my chart. That made it 2 Danish productions in the Top Two.....the other is to come soon.

 

 

23. My love (Kovacs)

 

Dutch singer Sharon Kovacs only had modest success in her homeland with this track but it became a huge hit in Greece.

 

 

22. Younger (Seinabo Sey)

 

This song by Swedish singer Seinabo Sey was remixed by Kygo who was at 82 in my Year End chart.

 

 

21. Happy Home (Hedegaard ft Lukas Graham)

 

In April 2014 "Happy Home" formed part of the Danish 1-2 on my chart and was at number one for 3 weeks.
