December 18, 20159 yr "Lean On" now ties with "Chandelier" for most weeks gained And is likely to stretch it's outright lead by at least two weeks with the Xmas/New Year boost it and other big singles of the year will. Edited December 18, 20159 yr by zenon

December 19, 20159 yr As well as most ever weeks gained, Lean On also has the all time lowest sales position that is not a Bieber song and still being top 40 combined. All time leaderboard needs to be updated too. Edited December 19, 20159 yr by zenon

December 26, 20159 yr I'd swap Calvin Harris for Craig David on this one. "Where Are Ü Now" is close to tying with "Lean On" and "Chandelier" for most weeks gained Edited December 26, 20159 yr by Hadji
December 26, 20159 yr Another week missed for Craig David :( Times like this when I really hate the streaming effect.
December 26, 20159 yr As this week is the last chart of the year, Lean On is this year's most weeks with streaming title with 11. Shake It Off is 2015's most weeks without streaming wooden spoon with 10.
December 26, 20159 yr Author Next week's chart is announced on New Year's Day but it comprises a full 7 days of sales that took place in 2015 so it'll still count to this thread :heehee: I'll start the new thread the week after then! But Shake It Off will keep its title regardless and Lean On will either keep its title or share it with Where Are Ü Now.
December 26, 20159 yr You should consider making a "Changes in top 40 weeks due to sales" thread instead since apparently streaming is now the main/biggest source of "chart sales". It's only going to get worse for actual sales.
December 26, 20159 yr Author It's not that big a shift yet though :P I personally find it quite interesting to see and I imagine others do too.
January 2, 20169 yr Author Last update for the year (the chart date is in 2016 but all sales/streams took place in 2015 so it still goes to this thread, I'll make a new thread for 2016 soon!) 07/01/2016 LOSSES 32 (43) Silentó - Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae) 34 (42) David Guetta feat. Sia and Fetty Wap - Bang My Head 38 (52) Craig David & Big Narstie - When The Bassline Drops 39 (44) KDA feat. Tinie Tempah and Katy B - Turn The Music Louder (Rumble) 40 (47) Charlie Puth feat. Meghan Trainor - Marvin Gaye GAINS 42 (33) Ellie Goulding - On My Mind 45 (40) Fetty Wap - Trap Queen 51 (34) Rudimental feat. Ed Sheeran - Lay It All On Me 78 (39) Skrillex, Diplo & Justin Bieber - Where Are Ü Now xx (37) Mariah Carey - All I Want For Christmas Is You And the first post is updated for the last time!
January 2, 20169 yr BOO at 'Bang My Head' losing all of these chart weeks. So close to getting a top 40 peak too, I hope it can do it soon.
January 2, 20169 yr Author I'd say it still stands a chance this week! Would be nice to see it make the top 40, not a Guetta classic but it's not bad at all.
January 2, 20169 yr "Where Are Ü Now" now ties with "Lean On" and "Chandelier" for most weeks gained and will most likely beat the record
January 6, 20169 yr All I Want For Christmas Is You first non-Bieber track to succeed in the overall top 40 whilst missing out on top 100 sales.
January 8, 20169 yr "Where Are Ü Now" and "Lean On" have both extended their leads to 12 weeks gained
