January 12, 201510 yr I really hope that I'm An Albatroz WON'T make the top 40. I don't need another Mr. Blobby/Gangnam Style. There are enough songs I can't stand around as it is. I'm sorry to disappoint you Mr. Jago but these viral sensations always do well on the chart ^_^
January 13, 201510 yr "Uptown Funk" was originally scheduled to be released the Sunday just gone. If it wasn't rush released, here's who would have been #1: 20 December: Ed Sheeran - "Thinking Out Loud" (one week) 27 December: Ben Haenow - "Something I Need" (two weeks) 10 January: Philip George - "Wish You Were Mine" (two weeks)

And if it gets a 7th week at #1 it will be the first to reach 7th week since 2007's Bleeding Love! Would've been nice to see it make a long run like this :nocheer: (At least saved us from another torturing week of TOL at #1 :o :drama:) Edited January 13, 201510 yr by SPINUMINATI ADAM
January 13, 201510 yr (At least saved us from another torturing week of TOL at #1 :o :drama:) It also stopped X Factor from gaining an extra week at number 1
January 18, 201510 yr Author I can't see Meghan passing 100k and at this rate Uptown Funk will still be selling that much per week, so I could see it remaining at #1 until Ellie Goulding releases. Which makes it 9 weeks. But of course we could get an big OA/OS release anytime soon, or Hozier could climb to #1 (please no), so who knows. I'll remain optimistic though and predict 9. well it looks like I was right, Meghan isn't anywhere near on iTunes or Spotify so Mark Ronson should keep the #1 :cheer: It'll be exciting to see a song be at #1 for so long, we rarely get songs spending longer than 5 weeks at #1

He needs to be knocked off
February 14, 201510 yr Author Well done to the 12 people who predicted 7 weeks :D Would've been 8 if Ellie didn't release early anyhow :P making my 9 week prediction still wrong, I didn't expect Hozier to overtake so soon
February 15, 201510 yr I'm surprised at the change in votes tbh :o I know Funk has returned to #2 on iTunes but I myself feel it needs a bit more than that to stand any chance of getting #1 again
