January 21, 201510 yr Was listening to the lead track this morning - very accessible stuff and, at the risk of lazy comparisons, somewhere between Elastica and Republica I'd say.
January 22, 201510 yr Been really enjoying the whole LP over the last couple of mornings, I reckon this could be one of the albums of the year. Thanks Grebo, and not least for posting something which actually fits into the "indie, rock and alternative" bracket...most of what's in this forum is pop.
January 30, 201510 yr Thanks Grebo, and not least for posting something which actually fits into the "indie, rock and alternative" bracket...most of what's in this forum is pop. Given the overwhelming amount of responses in this thread, I'd say this forum would've died if not for that 'pop'.
January 30, 201510 yr Be that as it may, I still don't see how it can be considered indie, rock or alternative. It's just an observation anyway. I'm fully aware that nobody comments on most of the traditional alternative posts on here - and even those which are creating a huge buzz, like Sleater-Kinney, have no more than a handful of replies.
