So no concrete news of release dates or what is to feature on this, but Josef has confirmed that his debut album is done :o

 

He recently performed 'Hustler' and 'Open Season' on Channel 4's "Launched for 2015" show and it could suggest that the album will feature these. I pray 'Hustler' makes it on at least as a bonus track because it was cruelly ignored from 'In Your Prime'.

 

But yes, hype, excitement and apprehension for what could be my most anticipated debut release in a long, long time. :heart:

 

So unbelievably excited for this now, this will be one amazing album.

My album, the beautifully titled 'Eau de Joe', coming to you sometime over the next decade, is more or less wrapped up, in all but bureaucracy and plastic.

The first video for this song was incredible so i was a bit dubious about him doing another. But this one is just as good and I'm glad the song is getting a new push and renewed promotion. Radio 1 playlisting next pretty please!

I've just heard this for the first time whilst watching the video and the whole combination is gorgeous... He has an incredible voice, as I knew from hearing "Diamonds" on however many adverts over the past year. Hopefully he can achieve big things with this and not just because he may be gay!

I saw him live (again, he was also BANKS' support when I saw her last year) and MY GOD his VOICE!!! It really is just sublime and effortless. Loads of new songs, all with absolutely smashing production - the album is gonna be a big highlight of this year, definitely.

 

(I also didn't realise he was Australian, not sure how that passed me by haha)

It's not his best on first listen though I do really like it. The chorus is very nice but the verses are slightly forgettable. The final minute <3

Video makes the song ten times better (and I already liked it a lot)! I've no idea how he manages to make such high quality videos - the level of effort and execution is extremely impressive for an artist of his standing.

Outstanding video for an outstanding song :wub:. Love the concept, the setting, the editing, the personality of the whole thing - my favourite part being 'the fantasy falls apart' at 00:48-00:53. <3
