Where was this confirmed? I thought Invincible was going to be released as the second here?

A site called Ultimate Music said it was, they normally have a lot of reliable posts on there but obviously it's not 100% as I'm pretty sure Kelly wanted Invincible as her 2nd single. I'm preying she gets Her wish as it's a much better choice that GGTB imo

Just out of interest, I went back to see how many songs Kelly wrote on 'Stronger' because of the discussion we were having about how personable this album is.

She only wrote 7 out of 18 tracks and all three singles were written by other people. She wrote 5 out of 16 on 'PBP'. She's had as much input into both :lol:

 

I don't think she had a huge input into AIEW either if im not mistaken. It was Breakaway and My December were she practically wrote it all (my two faves)

Yeah I've just looked, she co-wrote 6 of the 11 on Breakaway, but co-wrote all 17 on My December (if you include all of the bonus), she also co-wrote 8 of the 16 on AIEW so more than I orginally thought. So only really Thankful and the latest ones she hasn't wrote as much.

 

My favourite is easily My December, I want another were she writes it all, I like dark Kelly!

Breakaway is my fave album ever but My December is top 5 or at least just outside, I really want another album with songs like Irvine, Sober, Hole, Never Again, One Minute, Judas and Haunted :wub:

'Run Run Run' really is shaping up to be a massive hit when/if it's officially released. It's got about 150k more views than 'Invincible' on her VEVO channel and it's in her top 3 most popular tracks on Spotify currently! But saving it for awards season could be a smart move...

As terrible as the artwork looks digitally, the holographic paper does sorta improve it! Credit where credit's due etc.

I picked up the album today as I'm in Ireland for the week. It's actually nicer in reality because it's gold metallic. I love a gimmick.

 

Yep, just as I said a couple of weeks ago. The album cover in general has become less offensive to me. And I'm enjoying the content more and more.

The album is "only" down 5 to #11 in the mids today! I'm very happy with that as I was fearing a fall to outside the top 15 on todays mids and possibly top 20 by Sunday. Hopefully she can regain some ground though and climb back inside the top 10. But I'm hoping top 15 is pretty safe for her at least!

On my 10th play and I've decided this is her worst album since her debut, to be honest. The only amazing songs on it are Invincible, Take You High, Run Run Run, I Had a Dream and perhaps Second Wind. Definitely not a patch on Stronger, which I played yesterday and it's still magnificent.

I genuinely find it difficult to rank her albums (bar knowing what my favourite and least favourite is). I think you're right in that this is probably my least favourite since 'Thankful', but for me it's just a testament as to how much I adore her albums! I think as a whole though, I prefer it to AIEW. However, the high's on AIEW are SO MUCH higher for me.

For me it's:

 

Stronger = Breakaway > My December > All I Ever Wanted > [Wrapped in Red] > Piece by Piece = Thankful.

It's interesting that her #1 albums are 'Thankful', 'All I Ever Wanted' & 'Piece by Piece'.. her 3 most critiqued albums :lol:

I defintiely agree it's the weakest since her - but I'd say they're all in my all time top 40 after Thankful (except this obv, can't say that after a week or two haha). Breakaway is my favourite album ever, My December is top 5, Stronger top 20 and AIEW top 40. So I was always prepared that this would be her weakest since Thankful - no matter how good it was it was never going to be in my top 40 all time, at least not right away!

 

They really aren't as many tracks I'm going back to as there should be on a Kelly album (Take You High, Invinicble, Piece By Piece, Nostalgic and Run Run Run are amaze though) but it's solid, not TOO much of a disappointment.

Stronger was always such a bland album for me. :(

 

Good to see her get #1 in the US, shame the sales are dire though.

Its by far my fave Kelly record. There isn't a track on there that I dislike.
