I didn't even watch the BRITS last night, and came on to my Twitter this morning to see the Vine all over my timeline. It says something about the awards themselves when that was the talking point of the night.

As with Olly Murs stacking it at Guilfest, there's something oddly riveting/hilarious about popstars falling on their arse.

I really hope she does the voice now and pulls off a great performance so that the fall becomes yesterday's news.

Listen to Edna tbh.

On a serious note, glad to see she's okay, it did look mighty painful.

Madonna has been all that people have been talking about today and one of my friends said 'Living for Love' has been stuck in her head so some good has come from this!

How was whole the show for you? Was the audience as unenthusiastic as they seemed on the telly?

I think the fall would have taken main stage regardless, but I was watching and it was a really flat evening, mainly due to the audience though who may as well have not been there.

My psychology teacher spent at least 10 minutes on the top of Madonna and her fall today  It was so random but much more fun than research methods.
It was the topic of conversation in the staff room today too. Most seemed shocked at what happened and commented on how well she picked herself back up and powered through until the end.

People at my sixth form weren't so kind. :P Most found it really funny, although to be fair, no-one said she was "passed it" or "old" or anything like that which you may expect from teenagers.

Shame it wasn't the same at my school :( Most people were laughing about her falling because she's 'old' :(

So so close to buying this but not sure yet

Shame people can't focus on the important things. :(

And do, do, do!

Even though I agree with those points about how serious the accident could have been, I don't really mind that people find it funny. Especially since she is okay, you know, it's important to laugh it off really. Judging by her comment on Twitter, I think Madonna laughed it off (presumably once she calmed down from being so mortified).

Madonna's fall is being discussed on Newsbeat on Radio 1, with clips of 'Living for Love' being played.
The fall has actually helped her became the main topic of conversation though

Oh yes, there's definitely been a big silver lining to this. Like I say, people were talking about her in my sixth form and that's not something I would ever had expect beforehand.

At school this morning our form teacher had it on a loop on the projector trying to undertstand what happened :kink: That fall looks nastier and nastier every time I see it though :/

Love this tweet of support from J. K. Rowling <3

Madonna has responded to it too: "Thank you J.K Rowling! So nice to read your words of support! Women supporting Women! Hell to the Yeah! ️#rebelheart,"
