It is definitely better than 'Alive' but again, is nothing spectacular.

It's nice but nowhere near as good as "Alive" imo which is one of my musical highlights of the year.

 

The artwork this era though...

It's more my cup of tea than Alive, but I can't really imagine Adele singing it. Shouldn't this album just be called 'This Is Not 25?'

That's better than Alive but it hardly fills me with hope she's releasing Adele rejects.. Aren't all of these songs ones that other artists rejected or am I imagining reading that? :lol: That just doesn't make me think this album has the best songs, however I guess they could be good songs that the artist rejected because it didn't suit them - like I agree this wouldn't suit Adele at all!

The concept behind it is it's songs that an array of artists rejected, and she's singing the songs from their perspective. That's why it's called This Is Acting.

the thing that bothers me is that the pictures aren't all from the same photoshoot so it just looks so inconsistent. i love the alive cover and the album cover but the bird set free one is terrible

I wish she was getting the artists to lip sync.

 

I like this more than everything else I've heard barring 'Alive', although in the end it didn't quite live up to the promise it showed in the first minute.

 

If this was really meant for Rihanna, it's still better than anything she's done for a very long time.

Sounds like really good! Surprised that Rihanna turned it down, it sounds perfect for her.

I'm not surprised, Rihanna is obviously tone deaf these days.

That's pretty bad!! You can tell it'd be amazing if Riri was singing it, but it's too subdued so really doesn't fit Sia's voice.

I've never looked forward to an album so much, and particularly a Sia one! The four songs we've had so far are really good, Cheap Thrills being my favourite I think.

Sia has just tweeted that the next song from the album 'Reaper' will be released on Thursday.

This is out in about 3 weeks and we still don't know the tracklist, really?

Well considering it takes her like an hour to write a song... she could still be working on material LOL
