Yeah I noticed that about them still being with Polydor when I first saw the Mailer. Look at that. They haven't been dropped Yet, Una is ready to try and slay us all and Vanessa is at least having more success than we though Possible. In the whole space of 24 hours everything is looking a whole lot rosier :cheer:

Sorry I just need to get back the Somebody Else's Life version of Chasing The Saturdays that I actually prefer. The way Roch's

kicks in has more impact on me than the studio version and I can't shake off the doubt that she sing it sightly different on the album.

There are extra or different synths used on the intro version as well. On some point there's a *

* sound, maybe sounds ridiculous, but is also another reason why I loved the intro so much.

 

The production is overall terrible, especially the chorus. It sounds like Vanessa is trying to impersonate Rochelle's 'straining' voice, then they did an awful job at tuning her voice. I know they could have done a better job, such a waste.

I agree with Totto. I actually thought I would like Somebody Else's Life going off the CTS intro but it ended up becoming my least favorite Sats song. There is a difference between the two versions. The album version sounds more...empty?

The Chasing the sats one is better, but I still like the album one :lol:

 

Speaking of, rewatching Chasing the Saturdays, forgot how much Mollie's reaction to Vanessa's massive closet kills me :rofl:

Also the scene when Mollie brings Frankie a new sofa, still get me :cry:

I think it's the same vocals but un-tuned, directly from the record boot? It seems to be missing Frankie's high harmonies as well, although it might just be the poor quality I don't know.

 

This snippet made Somebody Else's Life sounds better, but I think it's only because of how short it is. I used to think it would be good as well based on the preview.

 

I mean, it's not a bad song, it's just meh.

I prefer the Sloooow version. The faster one that made the album is "Tuneless" as Hurricane said.

It's mess of a song, but the amount of Rochelle is enough for me ti listen. I really love Una's long note too.
