I made the stupid mistake of accusing LM of copying The Sats and am now being hounded by hundreds of 13 year old trolls

I love both The Sats and Little Mix... The Sats will always be my first love, I do find it funny how they seem to be almost stealing ideas, they would never admit to sighting The Sats as "An influence" when they obviously are, the girls even pep talked them on X Factor.

That's hilarious! I think you might've just started WW3 Paul.

Sean Paul DOES have like 40 collabs though. Nobody accused Sia of copying Beyonce.

There's always going to be comparisons.

I think the fact that it's less than three years since 'What About Us' and the fact that they've made 'Hair' album only. It's an incredibly smart decision and something that will benefit them!

It always does feel a little cheap re-recording a 4th single for a collab though. COUGH Bad Blood COUGH. But either way, it's still a smart move.
its disappointing that they've had four singles this campaign with two of them being features! Funny to think they've already and more guest feature singles than The Saturdays!

I was thinking about The Saturdays last night and wondering if they'd ever do anything together again, I guess the demand just isn't there, and I get the feeling they've all kind of moved on now, despite still being friends.

It's a shame really, because while I'm loving Little Mix at the moment, I still find The Saturdays' full discography to be superior (I know they were around longer). They have my second favourite discography from a Girl-group after Girls Aloud. But I just feel the main issue they faced, is that the music was always stronger than them and their management as a unit. They managed some solid, fun performances (the Notorious one sticks out), but I don't think they ever had a huge, attention grabbing performance, the skills and dedication just wasn't there. And their management were worse, they just made mistake after mistake, which ultimately lead to their inability to really break out the way Girls Aloud and Little Mix did. I've stanned hard for a lot of acts but The Saturdays were one of the most frustrating to stan for, I'd be wanting them to do well so badly, and they'd be taking holiday after holiday during an important single campaign.

I will forever live in hope that they get back together and release more music, just becuase for my personal taste, the charts/music scene really misses a pure pop act like the Saturdays, there are few that have been better at releasing just complete pop jams and gems, than they have been, which they obviously do not get the recognition for :(

In terms of how frustrating it was to stan for them, preach! It was so frustrating to know they were always on the verge of being one of pop's best, and bad decisions or lazy decisions completely halted their progress. They did do a lot right, but it's just annoying that what they got wrong has almost defined their career, because it could have been so much better.

She looks amazing! So much better than Frankie's.

loving the look on that cover

Happier without The Saturdays
:snif:

Happier Without The Saturdays?

First of all RUDE

Second of all CRY

Third of all Why? So you can release stuff that less people than are in your family have bought?

Happier Without The Saturdays?

And irrelevant as ever without them as well. :,)

She can enjoy her 12 solo sales so. It baffles me how all of them bar Mollie and Una (to an extent) are so dismissive of The Sats these days while being so optimistic about their inevitable flop solo careers.

That eye make-up makes her look bong eyed. She might be happier without the saturdays but I'd be happier if she kept in touch with their make up artist at least.

Come on guys. These "quotes" are always misleading.

It was probably something like "Being with the girls was truly amazing, I love them to bits...but doing my own thing, my own music, how I want it especially, well I've never been happier".

It's also possible that, Vanessa was never a big fan of the music they were doing from the beginning. I mean, she's all tattoo, RnB and though chick, yet she was in a cheesy girlgroup who was all about colors, pure pop and smiles. I'm not saying she was miserable in the group, but it's not exactly surprising if she feels happier now than then, especially if success, sales and money aren't what matters the most to her.
