Requested All Fired Up in the club I was in last night and they played What About Us, what a fail! I swear half the people in there started rushing to the door when it came on though! :rofl:

Just watched the 'What Are You Waiting For?' video for the first time in ages.

 

It's actually a pretty good song from them, and the video has made feel excited for the Summer - which it ever did last year, because Summer was nearing an end by the end it was released. They should have had a more summery video for 'Not Giving Up'. All the biggest summer songs come out in Spring, like 'Summer' by Calvin. They missed a trick there.

This makes me think/feel so many things.

 

1. I wish I could see something Saturdays related for the first time again.

2. I forget just how strong their singles are sometimes, and I really need to dust off my Finest Selection CD

3. The Saturdays could have been huge in America, each one of those people had a different member they liked best (sorry Rochelle none for you), and whilst I think the level of success they achieved played a part in how long they stayed together (no burn out). I would love to have seen them make it in another country.
