I do love lena! Can't wait to hear this. 😁 here's to hoping that she releases in the uk annnd promotes. Won't happen but you can dream! She's such a good popstar to waste!

This is gorgeous! The Ellie comparison is so strong, there are parts where her voice is actually identical to Ellie's which is really funny but when her voice gains its distinctive "Lena-ness" the song really becomes fabulous. Musically it's very Halcyon Days Ellie but a lot better than anything Ellie's done from that period onwards.

Much more instant than 'Stardust' and between this and the clip of 'We Roam' we've heard this album sounds like it'll be incredible  Very happy with her taking an electronic direction.

I do like this new song but to be honest it sounds like it is Ellie singing and i don't think that is a good thing as there is a fine line between inspiration and sounding like a tribute act... I'm not sure which this is from the first listen but it's sounding like that latter & I'm enjoying the electronic direction but i do hope she doesn't sound like ellie on every song.

Also the song has been played on radio already and it isn't on itunes until may?!

Germany are the only other country to have a similar way of releasing singles as the UK as far as I know, so they have to have a radio build-up for the highest peak possible.
She covered Ellie's Not Following on her debut album (and I turned it into a duet and sent it to BJSC *.*) so it's not the first time she's been inspired by Ellie.

Also "Who'd Want to Find Love".

Oh wow, I'd not actually got round to listening to this when I made my last comment...it's practically an Ellie parody in the verses, is she/her producers serious?

'We Roam' will be the B-side! :cheer:
Stunning art, and really happy 'We Roam' is confirmed! Wonder if it'll make the album.

Absolutely obsessed with this single now, and that's without hearing it in good quality! Could potentially become my second favourite Lena song ever, can't wait for a whole album of this electronic direction.

I do wonder how big her profile still is in Germany, I hope that she will still have success. There's no pre-order or anything up on iTunes yet so there's no way of judging if she's getting any airplay or not.

Yeah it's so tough to try and judge stuff in Germany. I mean there isn't even official audio on YouTube but it was the exact same for 'Stardust' - I remember after two days of listening I went over a month before I could hear it again.

All I know as regards her profile is she's a judge on The Voice Kids at the moment, but I've no idea if anyone actually watches that show.

I saw a German airplay chart which I think is like the main one and 'Traffic Lights' was at #52 which I guess is pretty decent for a track with 4 weeks to release. Hopefully this is a sign that the song should do well despite Lena's relatively long gap away since 'Stardust'.

The music video is released tomorrow, there's a teaser on Lena's Twitter page!

Music video! :cheer:

Curiously, I believe that technology they use at the end of the video (with the circular things going up and down) is what they will be using in Vienna in a couple of weeks!

It is such a gorgeous video. Like amazingly made. By far her best video, and the ones from her last era weren't bad at all.

Hope the single does well tomorrow
