I'm on my way home from the Wembley gig. £27 not well spent, so disappointed. Half an hour late on stage, awful crowd interaction, and disappointingly not as good live as on record. I expected better for a band who just graduated to arenas.

Really? :o I thought it was great, not totally smooth on every aspect but Olly is a fantastic performer and his vocals were strong. They weren't late either, came on at 9:15 like it said in an email!

They were like 3 minutes late.

 

It was utterly fantastic. I didn't expect them to work well in an arena but it was just so good, and full of surprises too! The production was amazing. Olly's vocals weren't perfect but they never are. MO was fab too.

It was a brilliant gig. I'm not the biggest fan of all their music, "Take Shelter" is probably my least favourite on the album so glad a re-release for that doesn't appear to be on the cards, but then "Shine" was my favourite song of last year and was a moment (the sort that should've been later in the set, but it worked well to get the crowd going). Olly is a star and some songs worked better for me live ("Ties" in particular was one I was never keen on).

 

On record I'm a much bigger fan of The Vamps and 5 Seconds of Summer, but I saw all three bands in the space of a week and enjoyed Years & Years the most.

Might be nothing but I've noticed 'Worship' is on the Hype New Music playlist on Spotify - has anything been mentioned/suggested about this being a single? Would love that to be true; was always one of my favourites on the album and sounds like a great album era closer.

Worship video is coming, must be the next single then! Probably the best choice out of what's left so I'm happy.

Ties and Take Shelter are miles better, I am so bitter.

Really like the video! Very Sia-inspired so naturally very bizarre, but I feel it's still easy to follow and get the gist of the message being portrayed.

'Ties' was played at work the other day (Asda FM), and I've only ever heard them play singles before so I have a feeling it's going to be the millionth single from the album. (I also heard 'Worship' there first).

First studio album I have bought in a long time. Great band. Can't understand why they don't re -promote Real, one of my fave tracks on the album and deserves a top 40 position.

^ would be a good way to end the era tbh, end where they started and if it flops no one will even care cos it's already done its thing
