Posted September 16, 200618 yr http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/82876894152.JPG With what some call a meteoric rise to the top, 'Fallen' brought the Little Rock, Arkansas band Evanescence to global success. The album sold over 1.2 million in the UK alone and spawned 3 Top 10 singles ('My Immortal' , 'Going Under' and 'Bring Me To Life') – the latter hit the No 1 spot and stayed there for 4 weeks. Now Evanescence return (minus guitarist/songwriter Ben Moody) with their forthcoming album 'The Open Door', and lead single 'Call Me When You're Sober'. Opinions on the big comeback from Evanescence
September 16, 200618 yr I love this! :o I wasn't sure at first, but since listening to some of their old stuff this has really grown on me! It better be Top 5!
September 16, 200618 yr I think this song is absoutly awesome. One of my top tunes on my playlist [Number 2 this week and number 1 in my personal chart]. Excellent come back.
September 16, 200618 yr I was really insure about this at first and I thought it would flop a tad and I didn't think it was as strong as Bring Me Back To Life but now my opinion has totally changed of the track. :o But I still don't think its as strong as the Bring Me Back To Life. :(
September 16, 200618 yr By far their weakest single yet I think. Though it will do well just because it's their comeback.
September 16, 200618 yr Author I'll say #3 it won't beat The Killers and Scissors but it's definately stronger than Lily Allen and Pussycat Dolls who release same week and has more potential as it's a comeback and not 2nd/5th single off a big selling album.
September 16, 200618 yr Are The Killers out on downloads this week or physicals? If only downloads then they will be #1 next Sunday considering that they're already #2 on downloads. :arrr:
September 16, 200618 yr Its charting on downloads only this week. ^_^ So its a sure-fire #1 next week I reckon, which although I like it they've done better stuff. I reckon Call Me When Your Sober will chart at #3 behind The Killers and The SS though.
September 16, 200618 yr Author Yeah I really do think the single will be #3. Ev have a dedicated fan base that will go out and buy it first week and it's already selling enough downloads to be top 40 this week.
September 17, 200618 yr Great comeback-didn't like it at first but its a grower (No.4 in my personal chart)
