Just heard this. It doesnt really sound like him. Its ok - not awful but not his best at all.

So catchy. Love the new sound. Lead single material. Fresh. Just what i wanted. I really liked his earlier material but it's so true that just wouldn't sell in today's market. So modern. I was expecting Echoes Part II but in retrospective this is much better. If the album is anything like this it'll be brilliant - the gospel sound is good.

 

Well done all involved and Mr Young of course. Can't believe i've been supporting Will now for over 13 years. He is still one of my fave artists around. :w00t: Can't wait for the music video and the album. Come on iTUNES! Get buying people!!! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :lol: PS The single artwork is awful! :P but never mind.

We lost the real radio network a couple of years ago they used to support Will alot, they were bought out by Heart :unsure:

I didn't know that Susan. :( I take it Smooth are still around, though is this different sound really them.

Well smooth played jealousy and i didn't think they would...this song song seems to fit more than that (imo)

Graham Norton just played it on Radio2

 

Said he had a new album out in May 85% Proof and he had heard really good things about it that it was brilliant ...but it should be its taken 4 years :lol:

I hope this bodes well.

Glad I took a break from my ironing to read your last two posts Sunday. Dare we even hope for support fro Heart. :unsure:
Dermot OLeary played it on his show in Radio2 this afternoon, didn't say anything before or after, maybe he's on autopilot today after the news yesterday.

Love Revolution has now had it's first red update on the kworb site so I think it will start falling now. Hopefully the video on Monday will help.
The single is listed on the main itunes page under hot songs. :D

The British singer unveiled the cover image for his new album ‘85% Proof’ just a few days back, premiered the lead single on UK radio around the same time and has announced that the official video is due to land tomorrow (UK time).

Marvellously, now with new label Island Records, the lead single ‘Love Revolution’ has already been given an Australian release!

Yes, for the first time since the days of ‘Leave Right Now’ and ‘Your Game’, us Aussies can get our hands on a brand new Will Young single.

It’s a ’60s inspired stomper, with more than a little lyrical nod to Tomcraft’s 2002 club banger ‘Loneliness’, stylistically a million miles away from the material from his previous album ‘Echoes’. Take a listen below.
