He also revealed that the album title came to him in the strangest of circumstances. "I was away in Thailand doing a kick-boxing training camp with my brother – you didn’t expect that did you? He has some song titles wrong but who cares. :cheer: :yahoo: Will Young’s upcoming album is going to be 100% EPIC Will Young Like A RiverWill Young’s upcoming new album might only be entitled ‘85% Proof’ but after hearing a taster of what’s to come, we can guarantee it is 100% perfection. Apart from Will’s current funk inspired single Love Generation, and the dark electropop ‘Like A River’ (check out the video here), the other three tracks, in the sampler, are a clear indicator Young’s ready to make his new album, an even bigger seller than Echoes. So what can the fans expect from the three new tracks ‘Brave Man’, ‘Joy’ and ‘Thank You’? First track, on the album, ‘Brave Man’ is an epic symphonic pop song, which just keeps building and building. Think Markus Feehily’s upcoming #1 single, but shaped and twisted by Will Young and slightly darker. Joy e.g. has a very uplifting, anthem feel to it. Think Mika versus Band Aid versus Paul McCartney and the Beatles. Last but not least, Thank You, actually feels a bit of a continuation to ‘Joy’ in the respect that Will is absolutely channeling his inner Paul McCartney on an absolutely beautiful percussion and violin packed production. Not to mention the incredible vocal soloist who showcases her skills towards the end of the song. With just over a month to go, until Will’s album is to be released, we are waaaaay over the 85% Excitement to hear the full works.
